The penultimate weekend of the Torneo Apertura 2008 might see the title race decided, but it's
unlikely. Lanús get things going away to Vélez; win and they'll crank up the pressure on

Comenzamos con nuestro anuario, dividido en 2 secciones: La que presentamos hoy es la primera parte

The Torneo Apertura 2008 ends this weekend, and whatever happens now, it's been a good one. All of
the matches featuring title contenders - and also, for some reason, Independiente vs. Arsenal - are
taking place at the same time on Sunday. Friday sees a key relegation clash in Rosario, whilst the

Con nostalgia de glorias pasadas hoy el Arse saldrá a despedirse de sus hinchas
en el Viaducto. En el último partido del campeonato en condición de local, tratará
de llegar a la meta de los 25 puntos. Sería vital conseguir ya este objetivo,
para que la campaña de este semestre al menos sea decorosa.

Arsenal ya tiene su objetivo cumplido. Siempre cuando la campaña es irregular se
recurre a la meta de los 25 puntos, y como ya se logró la fecha pasada; todo lo que
acontezca hoy será para el recuerdo de los hinchas. Probablemente Alejandro
Gómez sea transferido en el verano, por lo que sería la última
oportunidad de verlo con la camiseta del Arse.
Arsenal se despidió de la mejor manera de este Apertura 2008. Cuando hace unas
semanas parecía imposible siquiera imaginar con superar la barrera de los 25 puntos,
hoy podemos respirar tranquilos y esperar con optimismo lo que venga. Con una tarde
inspirada de Alejandro Gómez, quien aparte de los 2 goles fue el motor del equipo;
pareciera que fue la última vez en que el Papu vista la camiseta del Arse, por eso
despedirse siendo la figura es digno de un crack.
