Robin van Persie claims that former team-mate and Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor
deliberately stamp on him during Arsenal's 4-2 defeat at Eastlands. "I am sad and disappointed by
my former team-mate Emmanuel Adebayor's mindless and malicious stamp on me during today's match."
If found guilty by the FA, Adebayor could miss three matches [.

It's pretty bad. Fortunately for RVP he didn't get it full in the face - could've taken an eye
out. Let's hope the FA throw the book at him - I'd love a ten match ban.
More on this:
Manchester City's sensational 4-2 victory over Arsenal, maintaining their 100% winning start to
the season, was soured tonight when Arsenal's Robin van Persie accused his former team-mate,
Emmanuel Adebayor, of committing a "mindless and malicious stamp" on him.
Forget boring three-match bans, what's the best action to take against Emmanuel Adebayor? 1.
Ceremonial face-raking by Anders Limpar before kick-off in City's next match. 2. Twenty eye-bulging
full-pitch sprints complete with a pelting of pies at each turn. 3. Enforced Robin Van Persie quiff
hairdo for 12 months.
Arsenal have been named the third most valuable sports club in the world by American business
magazine, Forbes. They list us as being worth £837 million, while Manchester United and Real
Madrid lead the valuation table respectively. Real Madrid are also the second most valuable
football club at an astonishing $1.
When the FA assess Emmanuel Adebayor's shocking challenges tomorrow, surely the above image is the
best evidence to get him banned for 3 games?! The Togolese frontman stamped on Robin van Persie's
face during Arsenal's 4-2 defeat against Manchester City yesterday. As expected, Adebayor caused
all the controversy with his goal celebration and over-aggressive tackling Cesc [.

An Issue UEFA and FIFA Really Should be Focusing On!
Mark Hughes side romped to victory over Arsenal. Emmanuel Adebayor scored against his former
club and Shay Given kept Wenger's side at bay as they threw the kitchen sink at City.

1-1 Man City vs Arsenal Robin Van Persie
Some would say that Arsenal's Robert Pires had a tendency to go down easily or that Steven
Gerrard isn't averse to falling to the floor with relative ease. Of course Cristiano Ronaldo made a
name for himself at Man United for his theatrics as has Didier Drogba at Chelsea, but take a look
at these beauties!
The actions of a remorseful man Emmanuel Adebayor was apologetic personified after his crazed
sprint to celebrate his goal for Manchester City in front of Arsenal's supporters. But he is not
going to let the terrible guilt he feels deep down inside get in the way of a bit of training
ground banter. Having found the net [.
This weekend's headlines were stolen by Emmauel Adebayor even before a ball was
kicked. Saturday morning, Adebayor finally lashed out at his former club Arsenal,
moments before the Gunners kicked-off a challenging visit to the
Eastlands.
Forward Lee Nguyen is on the move and hopes that a training stint with Premiership club Arsenal
will help open up some new doors.
Yes they are not Millwall fans. Adebayor would be nothing more than a brutally murdered corpse
right now if he was in the 'den'.Adebayor had earlier commented that, "Arsenal have a lot of fans
who are not fans.""Arsenal have fans from America and Jamaica. Today they are Arsenal fans,
tomorrow they will be Liverpool fans and after tomorrow they will be Manchester United fans.
Yesterday saw Arsenal take the first step in challenging for the title this season, you want to
know why? We have games against Fulham, Blackburn, Birmingham, Tottenham, West Ham, Wolves and
Sunderland before our next top four clash, if we get 15 points out of those games we will be around
the top of the table, [.
With just an hour remaining in this years summer transfer window, a loan move for young
Mexican Carlos Vela could be possible, as several reports from London linking him with a
transfer deadline loan deal with Fulham Football Club.
Vela has now a difficult ankle injury, which forced him out of action in the first weeks of the
new campaign.
It's the first clean sheet of our Premiership season and it's a very comfortable win the one
registered this afternoon at the Emirates, but unfortunately, there's still a question or two which
will be asked in the coming days.
Many will ask how come Fabregas didn't celebrate the fourth goal, is it an injury or something
else?
No sooner was the Chelsea ban on transfers announced than BBC Radio 5 rushed out an interview with
an ex-KGB player who linked this case with the Eduardo case. It was one of the most sickening
pieces of anti-Arsenal propoganda yet launched in the media war on Arsenal. Chelsea are banned from
signing new players [.
Could Freddie be laughing it up and winning silverware back in England as he did for Seattle?
According to
David Falk at the
Seattle Soccer Examiner (click

Chelsea of the Barclay's Premier League.
Amazon have dropped a Manchester United album full of terrace chants after an official complaint

If there was one element of our new 4-3-3 formation that nobody had predicted at the start of
the season it was the use of Robin Van Persie as the central striker and Nicholas Bendtner as a
right sided forward. I'm sure that for many gooners, like myself, this was unfathomable; it just
literally never crossed my mind that Wenger might play like this.
Well this is not even a Photoshop job! Someone actually did this to their car and Wenger posed at
the back of it..maybe he is a fan of caricature art? I'm sure Arsenal fans will find this picture
offensive in someway...so I'm leaving the captions up to you The Prof seems to be happy with his
mini-me, as [.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is unhappy with Manchester City boss Mark Hughes over the Emmanuel
Adebayor stamp on Robin van Persie incident last weekend. Hughes insisted that there was no malice
intention from striker but the FA has filed a charge for violent conduct. The Frenchman said, "You

It doesnt really get funnier than this... But what was the old boy really saying to the Old
Trafford Faithful as he clambered on the roof of the old tunnel? Was he trying to convert us all to
Wengerism, his religious sect? Was he showing us that he is in actual fact a character from the TV
series [.
Standard Liege's Arsenal-supporting midfielder Axel Witsel has been banned for 11 GAMES after
committing a horrendous foul on Anderlecht stopper Marcin Wasilewski . Belgian international Witsel

Arsene Wenger's slide into dementia continues after an outrageous attack on Manchester United
midfielder, Darren Fletcher. The Arsenal creche manager claimed that United only play Fletcher in
order for him to commit fouls on the pitch and play "anti-football." Wenger's outburst was in
response to answering questions about his teams recent defeat to United, where he said [.

Well we all know what happened yesterday, one man is stealing the headlines for all the wrong
reasons and it overshadows a performance from Arsenal that was tepid, lethargic and toothless. Yes,
we managed to score two goals but it is not like we tore them apart on occasions, we didn't have
that extra bit of [.

'Tis the season to lay down the law, so big boys UEFA and bigger boys Belgian FA have laid down

Arsenal defender Johan Djourou will be missing for six months, L'Equipe has revealed. The Swiss
international was expected to return later to the squad later month, but Djourou has been forced
to get his troublesome knee cartilage problem operated on which means he will be on the sidelines
for six months.
Before playing Arsenal, former Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor said Arsenal supporters are
"not real fans."
"What is good at City is the fans. They love you. Arsenal have a lot of fans who are not fans,"
Adebayor said. "Arsenal have fans from America and Jamaica.
Manchester City away from home last season was when we really hit the bottom and you would
expect to see changes and lessons learned after that.
Unfortunately, not for us. Same old players, same old mistakes, same old tactics and same old
players out of position. I wish I could say I don't know why Nicklas Bendtner, who clearly said he
hates to play on the wing and did so well as a central striker for Denmark was played on the right,
but I have the answer.
Lady luck is back, it seems. A lot of questions will be asked after last night's performance,
starting with why on earth seven, eight, maybe more highly-paid professional footballers decide to
approach a Champions League game with such an uninterested approach.
I don't know, it seemed many didn't want to travel to Belgium or maybe thought that wasting time
against such a weak team was not in their plans.
There was big movement in the rankings this week as both England and Argentina reached a point
in their schedules from which last season's numbers have been discarded. This hurts Arsenal,
primarily, though we expect to see them return to the rankings before too long. Currently, only
three of the top ten domestic leagues in the world have yet to play enough matches to have last
season's statistics drop off: Portugal, Italy and Spain.
