Morning all,
another week comes to an end as we push further forward into the "summer" and there are a few
bits and pieces going on this morning.
Firstly, Jack Wilshere is off to Sweden to have a 'minor procedure' on his knee which the club
say shouldn't significantly delay his comeback next season.
Happy Friday to you all. Normally today we'd be all giddy and excited with the football about to
be thrust upon us at the weekend, but we have a Saturday and Sunday free of Arsenal.
And as I said yesterday, as much as Monday night football irritates me I'm kinda glad we've got
a bit of extra rest after Tuesday night.
Hello and welcome to Friday.
As you'd expect this morning's blog is jam-packed full of information about the players we're
going to sign and ... damn, sorry. That's my other blog in opposite world. Oh well.
Arsene will have a press conference today ahead of tomorrow's game against the Mugsmashers and
we might get a bit of clarity about what the plans are.
Happy Friday the 13th to you superstitious types, or to those of you averse to hockey masks and
chainsaws.
We'll wait for Arsene's presser this morning to get proper confirmation but the word on the
street is that it could be a comebacktactular Sunday with returns mooted for Cesc, Samir Nasri and
Thomas Vermaelen.
Good Friday to you all. If you're a short, preachy man with a beard and a gang of eager
vagabonds, may I suggest that today you stay away from any Romans that might be in your
neighbourhood? You'll thank me later.
Regular readers will know that I try and err on the side of glass-half-fullism.
Most bizarre dreams last night. Samir Nasri was living with the lesbian couple who live across
the road from me and he invented a machine which could fire footballs at cars and knock the driver
out of them as they were driving along.
I asked him what purpose this machine served. "It's for the dark future he said.
Right, we'll start with the football and tonight we travel to Elland Road for the FA Cup 3rd
round replay.
We got out of jail at the last minute in the first game and we're going to have to see a
performance much more like the one we saw at Upton Park on Saturday if we want to progress. At the
weekend the team's attitude was spot on, prompting more claims from our players that this was the
'real' Arsenal and how we'd turned a corner.
