has been the one putting together the U.S. tour and came to Kansas City a few weeks back when Denis

Both Davy Arnaud and Kei Kamara netted first-half goals in the 2-1 victory Sunday. The scoring

Tonight is a pretty big deal for FC Dallas. They host the UEFA Champions League winners from

United States this summer. The Red Devils will be showcasing against the Major League All Stars for
this year's All Star match, and the Premiership side will also play friendlies in Philadelphia and
Kansas City.

Like it or not the Kansas City Wizards is no longer the name of the Major League Soccer team
that resides in Kansas City, Kansas. The organization announced yesterday that it has a new logo
and a new name, Sporting Kansas City.
The logo and name change is not the first for the club that has tried to find it's identity over

On Goal, the owners of the Kansas City Wizards, announced Wednesday that the team would be
rebranding as "Sporting Kansas City" for the 2011 campaign and beyond.

So far things are going well- Miami still has a professional soccer side and on Tuesday the
community got a huge boost after it was decided that the Magic City would be one of 18 venues that
are part of the United States' World Cup bid for the 2018 or 2022 bids.
The Kansas City Wizards will play fellow MLS side Colorado Rapids on Tuesday, April 13th at 7:30
p.m. CT in a qualifying game for the 2010 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The game will take place at the
Stanley H. Durwood Stadium on the campus of the University of Missouri-Kansas City, which is
located at the intersection of Cherry Street and East 51st Street.
Wizards president Robb Heineman has confirmed the date of the game in Kansas City in Manchester
United. Tonight on Bigsoccer, Robb posted that the game against Manchester United will be on July
25th, likely at Arrowhead Stadium, although that hasn't been announced officially yet. (Where else

Manchester United will face the MLS All-Stars on July 28th at Houston's Reliant Stadium (8:30pm -
ESPN2) as part of their four-city summer tour. United open against Celtic at the Rogers Centre in
Toronto on July 16th before traveling to Philadelphia to play the Union at Lincoln Financial Field
on the 21st and then Arrowhead Stadium to face the Kansas City Wizards on the 25th.
Manchester United will play four games in the United States and Canada as part of a preseason
North American tour.
The Red Devils will arrive in Chicago, home of new shirt sponsor Aon Corp., on July 12 for
training and then meet Celtic on July 16 at Toronto's Rogers Center. The 18-time English champions

Major League Soccer announced today that Manchester United will be coming to take on the MLS
all-stars, July 28, in Toronto.
In addition, the club will play games in Philadelphia and Kansas City. The games will be
preseason training for the perennial EPL power and the first time MLS teams will get a shot at
ManU.
The news today wasn't that surprising to followers of this blog, but today MLS and the Wizards
confirmed that the Wizards would be playing Manchester United at Arrowhead Stadium on July 25th.
Along with playing the Wizards, United will play Celtic in Toronto at the Rogers Center, the Union
Lincoln Financial Field, and the MLS All Stars at Reliant Stadium in Houston.
In July 2010 right after the World Cup, the Manchester United squad will go to the USA to
prepare for their 2010/2011 season. They will be visiting Toronto, Philadelphia, Kansas and
Houston.
