In preparation for their match with Club America in the El Classico at Arrowhead tonight, Chivas
practiced at the Wizards training facility last night.The team ran through drills and did some
light scrimmaging.Luis Ernesto Michel punching the ball over the goal...While it was fun to watch a
team like Chivas practice, the real story was all the fans that turned out.
Today will be a busy day in KC Soccerland as the Season Ticket Holder Event takes place at our
Swope Park Training Center beginning at 4:30 p.m. CT. The Jimmy Conrad Show then airs live on
Sports Radio 810 WHB from 7-8 p.m. CT, followed by the Clasico Bud Light between Club America and
Chivas Guadalajara at 8:30 p.
So tonight was the big game out at Arrowhead between Chivas and Club America. First I want to touch
on a few other things.
Before the game tonight, the Wizards held a Season Ticket Holder Event out at the training facility
that included dinner and a Q&A session with Robb Heineman about the new stadium plan out at the
Legends as well as the plan out at Bannister.
Mr. John Kristick of the USA Bid Committee receives a Kansas City Wizards jersey from David Ficklin
and George Brett looks on.
