In this week's Great Serie A Game (which doesn't include Roma), we go back to the 1996/97
season, April 6, 1997 to be exact. Milan, who had won the Scudetto the year before under Fabio
Capello, were going through a disastrous season. Uruguayan manager Oscar Tabarez took over in the
summer, and was sacked midway for bad results.
Denilson and Diaby were key complementers to Arsenal's defensive and attacking side of the game,
helping the Gunners to a 3-0 win.

In his playing days (and even now as the boss of Selecao), Brazil midfielder Dunga
always seemed to be playing with the metaphorical middle finger up at his critics.
Former Italy coach Arrigo Sacchi has drawn parallels between Milan and Inter, claiming the
Nerazzurri are ahead on every level thanks to Jose Mourinho.
In his final end of year column in La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Sacchi spoke of the
similarities and differences between both sides.
