Well, they finally did it and boy, do Chelsea deserve it! Saturday night's
Champions League final was a fitting representation of the football patterns we've come to witness
in the last decade. The notion of "Finders, keepers" coupled by the
actual, cruel possibility of denying a team their fairytale ending has
come to light once again.
Did you enjoy the Champions League semis? Hard not to I reckon. Some thoughts:
People have been very quick to write Barcelona off, but they're still about as good as it gets.
We all know that anything can happen in football, and the semi-final played out almost perfectly
for Chelsea, scoring at just the right times and ensuring that, for the most part, they could camp
in their own half and make it hard to get through.

Any list of potential transfer targets for Spurs is likely to be lengthened or increased
depending on where the club finishes in the league at the end of the season. Predictably however,
this hasn't stopped any of the rumour mills from continuing to gossip.
Arjen Robben is one man who has arguably been mentioned in connection with a more to the Lane on
more occasions than his compatriot Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Despite his penchant for diving, moaning and rarely passing to his teammates, despite all that!,
Arjen Robben lit up the Premier League in his time with Chelsea, helping the Blues to consecutive
titles in the mid-noughties as he sprinted up and down the flanks.

Napoli vs Bayern Munich from the Stadio San Paolo, Naples
The Italian hosts are currently the best side in Serie A, according to Bayern head coach Jupp
Heynckes. He believes that Napoli do not play the traditional Italian way, and instead of setting
up a side to be broken down and hit on the counter, they're a team with a lot of attacking options
and have shown that so far this season.
Bayern Munich veteran Arjen Robbens gives his side a 2-0 lead against FC Zurich
in their Champions League qualifier with a brilliantly struck shot from just inside the box.
Mein Gott Bayern München, was war das denn gestern wieder? 1:1 in Nürnberg!
Goran Pandev struck two minutes from time to give Inter Milan a dramatic win at Bayern Munich
and propel the Champions League holders through to the quarter-finals on away goals.
Bayern's 1-0 first-leg advantage lasted just four minutes as Samuel Eto'o tucked away his eighth
goal of the competition.
MUNICH, Germany — Bayern Munich had to come from behind on Saturday to win 3-1 at Werder Bremen,
while Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund kept up their domination with a 3-0 win at Wolfsburg.

MUNICH, Germany — Bayern Munich's Mario Gomez hit a hat-trick as the defending champions went
third in the Bundesliga with a 5-1 win over Kaiserslautern on Saturday as leaders Borussia Dortmund

Things really couldn't have gone more swimmingly for Bayern Munich during its winter training camp
in Qatar. Long-term absentee Arjen Robben was back on the pitch, moving freely and feeling good.
Franck Ribéry, another worry in recent months, was as sharp as he has been since getting injured
in Euro 2008.
