Northern Colorado opened up Big Sky Conference play with a 1-1 draw Thursday against Weber State in Ogden, Utah.

Forward Ariel Cook got the Bears on the board first when she took a Danielle Birdsall and beat 'keeper Ryann Waldman to the left post. The goal in the 56th minute was Cook's seventh on the year.
