A classic mid-1990s kit, this – all angular, abstract, overdesigned and, ultimately, shit. Argyle wore it for one season only, and depite its eyesore qualities, it brought them a fair wodge of luck: in the 1995-96 season, under manager Neil Warnock, the Pilgrims gained promotion from Division Three, beating Darlington 1-0 in the playoff final at the old Wembley Stadium.
