Yesterday I picked my mom up from MIA and boy did she have a great story to tell me. She had flown
on the same plane as the Ecuadorian National team which was headed to New York where they will play
at a sold out new Meadowlands Stadium on Friday versus Mexico.
My mom is so cool she had a few of the players sign autographs for me and she took pictures with
them too.
The regular season in Europe finished without any surprises, unless you consider the lack of a
surprise a surprise in and of itself, in which case, surprise!!!
Inter Milan was able to squeak by Siena to win its fifth consecutive Serie A title; Barcelona
crushed Real Valladolid to win the title in Spain; and Argentinos Juniors managed to win its first
Argentine title in I don't even know how long.

Romero has been really impressive everytime I've seen him play (since his days in the youth/Olympic
teams), although neither he or Andujar are what you'd call hugely experienced at international
level.

An Argentine businessman, Federico Souza, acquired the majority stock of the Andalusian club and
now everything begins to color blue and white.
Apart from new manager Pipo Gorosito, who will work alongside his usual collaborators (Cacho
