Stupid injuries are the best. Gotta love rich athletes absolutely humiliating themselves.
Enter Fabian Espindola.
He's a pretty good soccer player for Real Salt Lake in Major League Soccer.
In a game against Los Angeles Beckhams Galaxy, Espindola scored an apparent 6th-minute goal.
As football fans we all like a nice rivalry to spice things up, but have these pairings gone a
little too far in their mutual hatred of each other? Probably not! 6) Brazil - Argentina Oh boy,
when these two nations meet, expect fireworks (and by fireworks I mean violence)! Even ...

Ahhh who can forget this goal that Dennis Bergkamp scored for Holland against Argentina in the 1998
World Cup. It was one of the best that I have ever seen while watching a game live and I still
remember it to this day.
Esteban Cambiasso had the goal and, without actually impressing anyone, Argentina were putting to
bed the run of six matches without a win that's seen them slip from first to fourth in the South
American qualification table for South Africa 2010. A poor performance but the result was still as
expected.
His full name is Gonzalo Gerardo Higuaín. He was born in Brest, France. He has a French
passport after his father a professional footballer in France was naturalized in that country.
Gonzalo is nicknamed "Pipita" after his father was popularly called "El Pipa"
during the latter's footballing days. Gonzalo chose Argentina to be his first country.

The 2010 World Cup qualifiers are approaching for the South American nations as the seventh and
eighth matches are taking place in the sole CONMEBOL group. The race to secure qualification could
not be more competitive as the top seven countries are separated by a mere six points - the table
could be completely transformed after these two matches.
This is what happens when you disperse some flem.
Chelsea starlet Slobodan Rajkovic has been banned by FIFA for 12 months after hawking a loogie
at a referee during the Olympics. The Serbian defender, currently on loan at FC Twente, chunked on

Pumas UNAM 2-0 Necaxa festejo

It was in the Serie A that the tradition of putting a star above the team crest originated. A star
was placed above a clubs crest to represent at least 10 league championships. Since then most great
European club sides have adopted the tradition of decorating their jersey's with stars that
represent past glory and give weight to a teams pedigree for all opponents to see.
This summer it was all about Iker Casillas. He outdueled Gianluigi Buffon, led Spain to their first
trophy in eons and even garnered some attention as a potential player of the year candidate. Nearly
everybody knows Iker is a fantastic keeper, so it wasn't an enormous surprise, but it was still one
for the ages.
Fiorentina's Juan Vargas was the hero for the Peruvian national team as he set up Carlos Fano's
equalizer in the last touch of the game on Tuesday against Argentina. Vargas wreaked
havoc all over the left side of the pitch against a poor Argentine side and would put the fate of
his team on his [.
AEK drew their first of two friendlies this weekend 2-2. AEK played wusing the 4-4-2 formation. The
goals for AEK were scored by RAFIK DJEBOUR!! in the 5th minute and Pantelis Kafes in the 30th
minute. Augustin Pelletieri, according to some newspaper reports, still needs a bit of time to
adjust to the new formation.
As good as he's been, this could finally be Kun Aguero's "breakout" year. Freshly 20, he
was the third leading scorer in La Liga last year. Won the Gold Medal at the Olympics with
Argentina this summer as well, scoring two against eternal rivals Brazil in the process. Now he's
got 3 Champions League goals [.

Argentina could slip behind Paraguay and Brazil in this week's South American World Cup qualifiers
after a tricky visit to Peru. Paraguay and Brazil have straightforward ties at home to Venezuela
and Bolivia respectively while Argentina, without a win in their last four qualifiers, have been
hit by suspensions, injuries and a possible crisis of confidence.
Argentina's favorite duo aren't all lovey-dovey in the press these days.
Said Maradona:
"Messi plays for Messi and forgets his team-mates."
He went on to say that Javier Mascherano might be the team's MVP, as he was suspended and
unavailable for the team's 1-1 tie with Peru.
The new season is now a few weeks old in Europe, so I thought it was about time we had a look at
the contributions of some of Argentina's foreign legion in the European leagues. So far Sergio
Agüero and Gonzalo Higuaín have enjoyed great starts for the two Madrid sides in Spain,
whilst in [...]
Argentina international Diego Milito has today admitted he turned down a move to Premier League
side Tottenham in favour of joining Italian side Genoa. The former Real Zaragoza striker was
subject of bids from Genoa, Torino and Spurs on deadline day and in the end he opted for Genoa.
After losing Dimitar Berbatov to Manchester United on deadline day Spurs were desperate to add to
their striking options and Milito was seen as a perfect replacement for the Bulgarian.
What is it about Carlos Tevez that he loses his cool when he puts on the Argentina jersey? He was
sent off today in the match against Paraguay for the second time in 3 matches as the match ended in
a 1-1 draw. This is a great result for Paraguay as they continue to lead the South American
qualifying group and got a vital result in Buenos Aires.
It was second versus first in the Estadio Monumental on Saturday afternoon, as Argentina hosted
leaders Paraguay in the South American qualifiers for the 2010 World Cup. The selección didn't
look particularly hot in front of their own fans, falling a goal down early on after dominating the
opening exchanges before going a man down [.
Carlos Tevez and his former Manchester United team mate Gabriel Heinze were both in the doghouse on
Sunday after a comedy of errors in the first half of Argentina's 1-1 draw at home to Paraguay.

It's hard to think back to the time when Gabriel Heinze was a greatly loved member of our squad. He

Whilst Carlos Tevez has shown himself as United's best player on the park so far this season, he's

Argentina has a team named Colon -- stop laughing -- which has a coach named
Antonio
Mohamed.
He's paid about $750 in fines for smoking on the bench, but he doesn't care.
The monetary damages are worth lighting up. So the reigning body had to do something dire.
But Argentina's Football Association said Friday it won't just fine Mohamed, but will
suspend him for several games the next time he smokes a cigarette on the field.
