Tampines Rovers striker Noh Alam Shah has officially signed a year deal with Indonesian Super
League (ISL) outfit, Arema Malang.
"I have lost a lot of motivation to play in the S-League, for reasons I do not wish to elaborate
right now," Alam Shah told Today, after Tampines' 1-0 loss at Woodlands last night.
I understand Arema Malang are close to signing three new foreigners. They are former Persita
striker Ernest Siangkam, former Persija and Cameroonian international Pierre Njanka and Gabonese
central midfielder Landry Poulangoye.
According to this link Landry is 33 years old and has played for Gabon 50 times.
It's not the national team going to Iran but the Under 23s! They leave 24 May and have two games
lined up in Tehran, on 26 and 28 May against the Iranians Under 23 and the Iranian full team.

After my little rant the other day about lack of information coming from clubs fair play to Albirex
Niigata who do at least produce a double sided photo copied team sheet listing both squads as well
as gentle reminders about their website and merchandise available on match days.
Last season Geylang United used to do a folded colour match programme featuring squads plus other
bits and pieces.
Some local reports suggest Persema and Arema Malang could be considering a merger for next season.
Arema of course are owned by a tobacco company while Persema rely on government hand outs.
I don't know how far along negotiations are, or even if there have been formal talks.
There have been mergers before in Indonesian football, most notably between Persegres and
Petrokimia who became Gresik United a few years back.
In a way to maximise gate reciepts Arema Malang are considering operating the system that has been
in place in England for many years. That would be to have a two tier pricing system in place.
For example games against teams like Persipura, Sriwijaya and Persib would cost more for fans to
watch than games against teams like PSPS and Persiwa.
According to today Berita Harian,Arema Malang has express their interest in Precious with the help
of Fandi Ahmad,Pelita Jaya coach. "Now,I'm still waiting for a call from Fandi or the club but
this has to be done quick because I was told that the Indonesia transfer window close on 28
January,"said Precious.
