It was very hot and humid day in the Philly...
But, that did not bother the fans from both sides....
American and Turkish fans were Tailgating hours before the match around the stadium..
And they were having good time too
The Turkish Journalist who came from Turkey fell in love with Financial field stadium and it's
press box.
55,407 were at Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday for the United States' final friendly before
leaving for South Africa. With US coach Bob Bradley using a first choice lineup, the team found it
tough going early against Turkey. Arda Turan opened the scoring in the 27th minute, and that score
held through halftime.
Landon Donovan assisted on second-half goals from starting forwards Jozy Altidore and Clint Dempsey

So I just got home from today's 2-1 win by the U.S. over Turkey here in Philly. My buddy's car
broke down, so I caught the train home, and that told me a bit about how much excitement there is
for the upcoming World Cup. On my half of the train car, there were U.

Rafa Benitez has been working hard in an attempt to lure 'quality players' to Liverpool during the
January transfer window to bolster his club's injury-plagued squad.
The Reds failed to reach the first knock out stage of the Champions League and currently sit 12
points behind leaders Chelsea in the Premier League, as enforced absences to stellar performers
Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres took their toll.
According to reports in the Turkish press, Rafa Benitez rejected the recent bid from Birmingham for
Ryan Babel as they are in negotiations with Turkish giants Galatasaray for a swap deal plus cash
for their captain and star man Arda Turan.
The player was widely expected to leave Galatasaray last summer with the club finishing a highly
disappointing 5th in the Turkish league, 10 points behind champions Besiktas.
Turkey international Arda Turan would be interested in a move to Liverpool.
The Galatasaray midfielder has spoken of his desire to experience football overseas and Anfield
would be one of his preferred destinations.
"Of course I want to play abroad but it is our board's decision," said the 23-year-old, who has
previously been linked with Rafael Benitez's side.
With hours left of the qualifying campaigns it looked like the best player in the world (Messi)
and one of his competitors (Ronaldo) wouldn't be at the World Cup. But, El Diego scraped it for the
Argies, and Portugal beat Bosnia in a play-off, so we get the whole media circus surrounding those
two.

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez believes he can secure the signing of impressive Galatasaray
attacker Arda Turan this summer just so long as he can persuade the club's money men to back him in
the transfer market.
.
A couple of days ago Arsene Wenger had this to say on afc.com
"I have definite transfer targets and I have been talking to people but I will not tell you
to who," he told the Arsenal Matchday Programme.
The Frenchman then revealed there was a desire to bring in players ahead the summer
tournament.
The Turkish genius Arda Turan said earlier this year that he was keen on working with Arsene
Wenger, and recently he has been linked with a move to the Premiership, which is his preferred
destination, with both Arsenal and Liverpool. Today his agent, Ahmet Bulut, has said that both
clubs have made discreet enquiries, but it [.
Tottenham Hotspur
Who they have bought: Sandro
Who they need: Spurs have a decent squad with depth, but a few players might be
needed to strengthen things especially if they have a good Champions League run.
Who they should buy: Rafael Van Der Vaart (Loan), Nedum Onuoha, Michah
Richards, Arda Turan, Fernando Gago, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Eidur Gudjohnsen, Loric Remy
West Brom
Who they have bought: Steven Reid, Pablo Ibáñez, Boaz Myhill
Who they need: West Brom have a decent squad, but I don't see a striker there
capable of scoring 12 plus goals a season, nor do I see their midfielder's stepping up to pitch in,
although Brunt or Thomas may disagree with me.
As we move into the last 24hrs of the current transfer window, the speculation just continues to
keep on coming, especially if you are a Liverpool fan. For every suggestive comment on a player,
there follows one to disprove it, or vice versa. Even Wikipedia is a little unsure at the moment
who a few players are signed to, such is the hysteria that this time of year presents.

For the fourth transfer window in succession, Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez was given a
sell-to-buy policy, and in this case a sell-to-not-buy policy.
Just like last summer, the Reds boss recouped more money on player sales than he was allowed to
spend on purchases. In fact, his only signing arrived on a free transfer.
With the Turkcell Super League season now going into its last four weeks, the usual contenders
are in the race for the title. With Beşiktaş losing to Fenerbahçe over the weekend, it seems
as though Beşiktaş is out of the title race, leaving Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray to slug it out
over the title.
Don't Turk yourself seriously Playing in Turkey doesn't play quite as well as the Premier League,
so Lucas Neill has been topping up his wages by showing off his acting skills. He and Arda Turan
are clearly both keen linguists: each talking in their native tongue and the other understanding
perfectly without any translation.

According to some reports, Tottenham have agreed a deal in principle to sign the Galatasaray
winger Arda Turan, with Giovanni Dos Santos going the other way.
Turan is a left winger who has been compared to Lionel Messi and at 23-years old, has already
won 34 caps for Turkey. He's also Galatasaray's captain, which suggests that he might be the sort
of vocal character that Harry is always stressing we need (or that Galatasaray will do anything to
keep him).
It is not worth mentioning Cesc Fabregas in todays roundup of the Arsenal transfer news, as every
website and his dog has already covered the bad news. The last few weeks rumoured have mostly
concentrated on goalkeepers, but I expect the next couple will be looking at who Arsenal could buy
to replace Fabregas.
On This Day In Spurs History: 24th May
1914 Two months before the outset of the First World War, Spurs made the rather silly decision
to tour Germany. On this day in 1914 we drew 1-1 with Stuttgart and this match, along with the
others on the tour, was most notable for the fact that our hostile German hosts kicked us all over
the park.
Turkish international Arda Turan is set to quit Galatasaray with Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez the
confirmed favourite to land the talented 23-year-old playmaker. Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is
also interested, however, the Turkish club do not see Spurs' proposed player-plus-cash offer as
value for losing their talismanic captain.

While mainstream America media fawns over the game for the next month (not that there is
anything wrong with that), I thought it important to return to the people who are always there, no

You know, I'll regret saying this, but at this point, I'm almost wishing that the media would
make up a new rumor for me to angrily chastise them for making up. Come on media, you're better
than this. Hugo Lloris? Igor Akinfeev? Arda Turan? Loic Remy? Gokhan Inler? Edin Dzeko? Sebastian

Highly rated pint sized Galatasaray attacker Arda Turan is reportedly desperate to secure a oft
speculated move to Anfield and is hoping that whoever takes the Liverpool hot seat will make this
dream move a reality this summer.
Galatasaray winger Arda Turan has revealed that his priority this summer is to move to Liverpool.
The Reds announced that Turan is eager to join the new era at Anfield, while Tottenham Hotspur boss
Harry Redknapp and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger are also monitoring developments.
Turan has been consistently linked with a move to the Premier League with Liverpool, Arsenal and
Tottenham the reported chasing pack.
I suppose it's indicative of our nature as impatient, thrill-seeking bipeds, but you almost wish
the summer window would play out like it did in the Ramos era. You remember- when players trundled
in and out of White Hart Lane like an overcapacity nightclub with a strict one in/ three out
policy?
According to reports in the Turkish press and quotes from the player's agent, Tottenham have opened
talks to sign Galatasaray's star man Arda Turan. The talented winger has been a long-term target
for both Arsenal and Spurs in recent seasons but with Arsene Wenger's interest waning, it would
seem Harry Redknapp is at the head of the queue.
A new era started for the Turkish national team on August 1st of this year. It was the day when
highly regarded coach Guus Hiddink would officially begin his duties as head coach of the Turkish
national football team. Many were looking forward to how Hiddink would handle being a national team
coach in a country where emotions run high and expectations are great.

The transfer window may now well be firmly slammed shut until the New Year but while all matters
RBS go back to dominating the headlines, it seems that squad changes at Anfield are still on the
mind of Roy Hodgson, just as much as the media continue to work on possible new arrivals.
Liverpool's squad to start the 2010 campaign may well be lacking the fire power in atacking
areas that many a fan craved but Roy Hodgson has been happy to throw some more optimism out there
to be digested, as he declared himself satisified with the clubs summer dealings.
Patience maybe a virtue but in many walks of life it is an absolute necessity, the world of
football is no different.
As the dust settles and fans reflect on a 0-0 draw away at Birmingham, switching their focus to
the Europa League on Thursday, patience is a word that is only going to be heard more often.
Transfer deadline day. As I write this we're 8.30 hours away from the end of the rumour mills
and the various "In The Know's" located all over the internet will have to jump back into their
boxes until at least mid December.
It seems it could be a busy day, as it always is just before the window shuts, but will it be
for Spurs?
