According to reports in the Turkish press Liverpool and Manchester United are gearing up for a
battle for the exciting young Turkish winger Arda Turan this summer. The player is expected to
leave Galatasaray with the club finishing a highly disappointing 5th in the Turkish league, 10
points behind champions Besiktas.

Galatasaray midfielder Arda Turan is interested in joining Arsenal next summer,
according to the player's agent.
The 22-year-old winger has made 86 appearances for the Istanbul giants scoring 22 times since
breaking onto the first-team scene in 2004.

lights went off after 40 mins, postponing the game for 12 minutes. It was a qualifier game for the
UEFA Europa League. Frank Rijkaard's team consisted of mainly youngsters who won't, probably, be
playing in the preferred squad of the team.
