With US International star Landon Donovan set to arrive this week at Everton
on a 10 week loan from the LA Galaxy, footy fans on both side of the pond are asking:
Will Donovan finally prove himself in Europe? To answer that question we thought it would

A Scott McDonald goal gave Celtic a brief lead in the Old Firm clash with Rangers before Lee
McCullough equalized within two minutes. It was a typically nervy affair as Celtic and Rangers did
battle at Parkhead and there were the usual flurry of cautions at Celtic Park before Aussie
McDonald struck late on before Rangers kept themselves well ahead of their arch rivals with their
immediate response.

It's a case of "same again, please" as far as the J. League is concerned, with last
season's bumper opening day clash between Kashima Antlers and Urawa Reds reprised for the 2010
campaign.
The J. League has announced the schedule for the opening two rounds of fixtures, with three-time
defending champions Kashima set to start the defence of their title in front of a capacity crowd at
Kashima Stadium against arch-rivals Urawa.
Tournament favourites Ivory Coast were eliminated from the Africa Cup of Nations last night
after losing 3-2 to Algeria in the quarter finals. The Elephants were given a rude shock when
Algeria twice came from behind to steal a draw and ensure the match went into extra time.
This coupled with the news of Milan's defeat to arch rivals Inter turned my otherwise great
weekend into just an okay one.

Egypt would almost certainly have beaten Cameroon in their ACN quarter-final without the help of
an officiating f**k-up, but Ahmed Hassan's free-kick, which made the score 3-1 to the holders, was
