Any player who is successful in the Premier League earns praise, money, and a
rumoured move to one of the classier clubs in Europe. Cesc
Fabregas is no exception, and he has been linked with a move away from the
Emirates for some time now.

Doing the Home Alone face every time I yawn is still totally hilarious and not at all played
out. ... Also totally hilarious: the fact that I, Peter Crouch, have a hotter lady than David
Beckham. ... Then again, I don't have a filthy hobo beard, so maybe that makes sense now.
North America's premier footie beef finally comes to The Big Apple and getting in will be harder
than getting a table for four at Babbo on a Saturday. Tomorrow's final at The Meadowlands is
officially sold out. If you don't have tickets by now you better know somebody...and maybe even
biblically.
Michael Lewis of Big Apple Soccer is reporting that the New York Red Bulls team is for sale, and
that FC Barcelona is the potential buyer!
Wow! Wow! Wow!
Then again it's not much of a surprise, as Red Bull has shown no real clue how to run a team in
MLS. Yes, the stadium building project is beyond parallel in the league, but the rest of their
project has been miserable most of the time.
Reporters yesterday were able to "ask the question of the week," getting a few words in with Don
Garber about the rumors of a potential sale of the team by Red Bull.
From Big Apple Soccer:
"This isn't even a story," Garber said. "It's not for sale. It's one of those things that comes
out; some guy in his pajamas sitting in his kitchen and says 'What kind of story can I write before
they have a big announcement?
While at yesterday's final grass installation, there was a rare positive vibe with the team, not
just for the Arena's near completion, but for the season to come. Whether it was players,
management or press, everyone seemed to look towards the future with longing eyes.
A lot of the hot button issues were discussed, and others simply insinuated.
Sad news today from Seeqpod. They are being sued by several music labels and have filed bankruptcy.
Though the CEO says they are just moving servers and are in talks with a major Apple competitor I
don't think its going to happen. That's pretty sad, Seeqpod had to be my favorite web app ever.

Mainly promoting manly fun, Apple, courier services and books Ah, bless. I've been rooting for
these two to get it together for years. This new Reebok viral is supposed to show Giggs and Henry
psyching each other out ahead of tonight's Champions League Final. To be fair, they are just
flirting with each.
William Smith from Big Apple Soccer has an interview with Doug Peterson, co-owner of FC New York
who will join USL First Division play next season. Read the interview HERE.
The team's ownership group, led by New York natives Jo-Ellen Treiber and Doug Petersen,
announced their arrival during an April 1 press conference and are prepared to make a long-term
impact on the New York soccer scene.

This just in from Ives Galarcep of the Hearld News & Brian Lewis of the NY Post. Juan Carlos
Osorio has just resigned as head coach of the New York Red Bulls. On RBNY's official site Assistant
Richie Williams will be taking over these final eight matches under an interim basis.
More information will be coming after this weekend & after the match against FC Dallas this
Sunday Afternoon 3PM EST.
Michael Lewis of Big Apple Soccer spoke to Juan Carlos Osorio in his first interview since stepping
down as head coach of the New York Red Bulls.
"When I stepped aside, I felt they would be relieved and there was a sense of urgency," Osorio
said. "I am not surprised the team won two games.
On the 18th September, LFC will be announcing a new shirt sponsor to take over from Carlsberg next
season. George Gillet says it will be sponsor that fans will be pleased and surprised to be
associated with Liverpool...
There has been a bunch of strong rumours that it could possibly be a financial company, but I can't
think of any cool ones.

Carling Cup hero Ben Foster watched clips of Tottenham players taking penalties on his video iPod

As manager Sir Alex Ferguson decided which players were going to take penalties after the match

"The offer is a very good offer," he said. "The club is a very good club. I am considering the
