Shambolic defending
It was not the send off that we wanted to see. For the fans or for Pat Rice. The 90 minutes was
the shorter version of what our season was. The bright start (Udinese) to the shoddy defending
(United away, Fulham away) to coming back strongly (Chelsea away, Sp*rs home) to more lapses in
defending (QPR away, Wigan home).

Hughes teaches his players to head the foot
The recent weeks has become a little bit boring in all fairness. Who likes to continually read
or write about the good stuffs. About how the squad is showing real resilience and fight and
courage and we're suddenly a pretty decent team when we have our players back fit.
The premature post-mortem into the league campaign begins, and if criticizing a popular manager is
too hard to stomach, there is usually an array of boardroom executives, owners or Liverpool players
who are more convenient targets.
Nowadays, there is an even more vulnerable object of the fans' ire: the director of football.

New Year's in NYC x AFR
No, the whole AFR Team didn't come together to take over the Big Apple. Now that would be
writing a few thousand words about. But my brother and I, alongside a couple of friends, did enjoy
a few festivities and quite a bit of footy.

There is a debate going on on whether the Premier League should scrap relegation and promotion
or not. Frankly, i think all those who are proposing the idea are crazy. I tried looking for an
appropriate word but the truth is only insanity can define such an idea.
Scrapping relegation would drastically reduce the level of competition in the league not to
mention reducing the revenue the league generates every season.
Scudamore dismisses talk of scrapping relegation as 'nonsensical'
"It's just a nonsensical starting point...it's scare-mongering of the worst order in my view.

For all the success enjoyed by the University of North Carolina last season, there was one

season.

It is very rare these days that we see an Arsenal player with a genuine connection to the club.
A local lad, someone who has known Arsenal all their life, and not just from the start of their
footballing education. When Lansbury scored against Spurs last season everybody could see what it
meant to him he is Arsenal born and bred and suggestions of letting him go without giving him a
decent chance in the first team would be typical of the youth project in recent years.
David Moli hit a hat-trick and Adam Morgan grabbed a brace as Liverpool U18s continued their 100

just three outings with some superb finishing in front of the watching Kenny Dalglish.

The world's oldest football competition will be sponsored for the next three years by the
"King of Beers". The competition is to be grandiosely re-branded as the FA Cup with
Budweiser.
The FA of course gets some serious business. For the more finicky it's a measure of the beer's
quality when the Budweiser ads generate more buzz than the taste.
And it's finally back!
These guys, um, yeah, they got it covered...

The famous World Soccer magazine came with 'New Look' starting April issue. The new look was not so
much in the quality of the paper of the design of the cover, but in the content and material
itself.

of soccer.

It was supposed to be round 3 of this once-in-a-lifetime ‘World Series' of Clasicos, and it was
supposed to be the first of the 2 games where the chance to vie for the biggest prize in club
football was at stake. It didn't even have to be Real Madrid vs. Barcelona, any 2 Tom, Dick and
Harry teams vying for this prize would've turned this match into a potential classic.
