Check out the CSKA Moscow player and his new Mizuno boots. Pretty solid looking pair. Hopefully he
will make an appearance for Arsenal in the near future.
I can't believe I missed this . . . I don't know how I missed this. Apologies good reader - mi
dispiace - mi scusi . . ..
Back in April, Juventus' Alessandro Del Piero was on the Italian television show Chiambretti Night.
I'm nine months late on this, but here is the video I've found on YouTube - the first few videos
are just some excerpts, but the rest seem to cover his full appearance, though the quality is not
great.
Has this man played his final match for Chelsea? The reserves that is.
Yes, it looks like Fabio Borini will be moving to greener pastures sooner rather than later. The
young Italian striker, who has been iced out of the first team this term despite decimating all in
the reserves, is set to miss at least two months after undergoing shoulder surgery in his mother
country Tuesday.
It was a cruel blow to both Newcastle United and French whiz kid Hatem Ben Arfa, when the 23
year-old broke his leg in two places, playing against Man City in his 4th appearance for the
Tyneside side, in early October. Ben Arfa let's make sure we keep supporting this player
Newcastle have given [.
Being on the wrong end of a 4-0 scoreline hurts. It doesn't matter which team we put out there.
Even if it was an Academy side, it hurts because its still a Manchester United eleven. I still
haven't caught the highlights (and I don't know if I really want to), so I can't quite comment on
how the game unfolded.
I am being absolutely sincere when I tell you that this season, I believe the Carling cup to be
a more important tournament than the FA cup, and over the next 400 words or so, I'll tell you for
why...
Personally, I find both of the domestic cup tournaments now of equal significance, in that at
the end of each tournament you have 1 cup that is decided in a final at Wembley.
MANCHESTER, England Mario Balotelli scored twice as Manchester City FC qualified for the UEFA
Europa League round of 32 with a comfortable victory against FC Salzburg. Balotelli struck on 18
and 65 minutes, his first goal a sumptuous volley from Pablo Zabaleta's cross. Adam Johnson's solo
effort rounded off the scoring late on, leaving [.
Goals from Dilly Duka (Columbus Crew) and Teal Bunbury (Sporting Kansas City) led the way as the
MLS Generation adidas side won 2-1 over Real Madrid's reserve side on Thursday.
Duka and Bunbury tallied in the first half to open up a 2-0 lead. Real Madrid Castilla then
pulled a goal back in the 68th minute.
VIENA, Austria Falcao continued his prolific run of form in the UEFA Europa League by scoring a
hat-trick as FC Porto wrapped up Group L and confirmed SK Rapid Wien's elimination at a
snow-covered Ernst-Happel-Stadion. Needing to better Be?ikta? JK's result away to PFC CSKA Sofia to
retain hope, Rapid edged in front six [.
Celtic manager Neil Lennon has predicted more first-team action for young Irish international
Richie Towell after his impressive debut for the Bhoys last weekend.
Dublin born Towell came off the bench to make his first competitive appearance for Celtic in
Saturday's 2-2 draw with Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Lennon hopes to see Towell in the side
more often.
West Bromwich Albion 3-1 Newcastle ( Somen Tchoyi, Peter Odemwingie*2/ Peter Lovenkrands) A poor
performance from Newcastle saw them go down 3-1 at the Hawthorns to West Bromwich Albion in the
Premiership on Sunday, December 5, 2010. It was Sol Campbell's 500th Premiership appearance but the
former Arsenal and Spurs centre half had a forgettable [.
He's Absolutely Terrifying, But What He Lacks In Appearance He Makes Up For With Skill.
Bayern Munich were always going to be expected to beat FC Basel, especially at home, and they
did just that. Thomas Kraft started in goal for the home side and he was called to action on a
number of occasions but performed very admirably.
I've never known too much about Philippine football and indeed still don't know if they have a
national league. I did see their Futsal team in Jakarta earlier this year but they were mostly
Iranians!
Anyway you can understand how delighted I was to find out their FA is as cack handed as anyone
else's in the region.
It has become the premier match-up of the Premier League: Manchester United and Chelsea. On
Sunday, the clubs meet for the first time this season when the Red Devils visit the defending
champions, clearly this weekend's match of the week.
To talk about that, I'm joined by The Gaffer, making a special appearance on his own show!
Making his second appearance as a Funny Feeling Friday selection he first appeared in this spot
last season in April, it's Wigan's cheap striker Hugo Rodallega. Rodallega has been outscored by
other budget signings Davies, Elmander, Carroll, and Odemwingie ... Continue reading →
2010 is a year that I will never forget. My first in Major League Soccer, my first with D.C.
United, and what a ride it has been. Recently MLSsoccer.com published some of the best photos from
the most recent campaign. I selected a few of my favorites for display, including one shot from our
local photog Tony Quinn.
Yesterday, during the club world cup finals a national hero made his appearance - Mario Ferri.
He ran onto the pitch with his usual swagger, wearing his trademark Superman T-shirt. After
seeing this latest pitch invasion, I decided it was time he got his own thread. [read more]
20-year-old striker Andras Simon has terminated his Liverpool contract by mutual consent and left
the club.
The young Hungarian had spent last season on loan to Cordoba, but has never really made an impact
on the first team at Anfield, failing to make a single senior appearance for the side.
The player's agent, Viktor Kovesdi has stated that Rafael Benitez's departure and the decision of
new boss Roy Hodgson to promote home-grown talent in the club's academy was one of the key factors
in Simon seeking a departure.
The Sun today says that one of Newcastle's January targets is Ipswich's 17 year-old whiz kid
striker Connor Whickham. Connor Whickham already an England U21 International The 17 year-old
6'3″ striker has played for all of the England Youth teams, and already has one appearance at the

Juan Carlos Osorio left MLS 16 months ago having endured the worst run in league history. More
than a year, and one Colombian League championship later, Osorio looks set to return to MLS
again.
ESPNLosAngeles.com is reporting that Chivas USA is set to hire Osorio as the team's newest head
coach.
Liverpool defender Chris Mavinga is set to move to Belgian club KRC Genk on loan until the end of
the season, according to French sources.
The 19-year-old arrived at Liverpool in the summer of 2009 from Paris Saint Germain FC.
The Frenchman is deemed a good prospect, and has impressed for Liverpool reserves, but is yet to
make a first-team appearance and has accused Reds boss Roy Hodgson of bias toward English players.
Finally getting to the final part of the season review, the forwards.
Andre Akpan - Akpan only had one appearance this year but got some good experience while on loan to
Tampa in the USSF Division II. He'll probably feature in the reserve division next year, and push
Amarikwa for the forward spot on the bench until Kandji returns.

Considering little baby Benji made an appearance on the football pitch before his umbilical cord
had been cut, it's not surprising to see him in this adorable video with his papa skillfully
dribbling a football around their home. Question: What happens if Ben decides he wants to become a
rubgy player?
Honduras today named their roster for this January's UNCAF Nations Cup in Panama. Unfortunately for
KC fans, Roger Espinoza was not one of the 24 players named to the roster. Espinoza's last
appearance for Honduras was in the team's loss to Panama back in November. He was and unused
substitute in Honduras' win in the return leg in December.
