It's time to meet today's lovely lady. 25 year old Chloe Mosley a Personal Trainer Chloe from
Stevenage. Chloe is a natural beauty with the most beautiful blue eyes we've ever seen. For those
of you who used to watch Soccer AM when it was good (Lovejoy era) will remember Chloe's appearance.
What does it say about Arsenal when their reserve team last night beat Sheffield United 6-0 in the
Carling Cup? Maybe the tournament should be renamed the Arsenal Youngsters Cup? Here are some of
the impressive young starlets who played last night: Kieran Gibbs. Midfielder, 18 years old, only
made his second appearance for Arsenal last night.
There's an old 1962 movie with Charlton Heston (don't ask me how I know that) that has a very
appropriate title for this match: "The Pigeon That Took Rome". CFR Cluj being the pigeon,
a.k.a the David that no one knew but who at his first UCL appearance defeated the big Roma Goliath.
Italian manager [.
Schalke, currently sitting at the top of the Bundesliga, have surged ahead to the peak of another,
less prestigious table - the goalkeeper injury table. First choice keeper Manuel Neuer has yet to
make an appearance this season, having broken his fifth metatarsal during a pre-season friendly
against SpVgg Erkenschwick (currently playing in the [.
Devn McTavish - otherwise known as The Bachelor - will make his final appearance on the Carson
Show this afternoon around 4:30 p.m. to discuss the final ten candidates in Mix 107.3's date Devon
contest. The winning lady will be decided by your votes, so head over the Mix 107.3 website to
vote. Voting ends tomorrow afternoon, so make your pick (I'm voting for Abby).
New Spurs striker Roman Pavlyuchenko has wasted little time in declaring his aim to shoot down arch
rivals Arsenal this season. Pavlyuchenko arrived at White Hart Lane from Spartak Moscow in a
reported £14 million deal last Monday and while he is yet to make an appearance for his new
employees the Russian ace is [.
This weekend could see the debut of Mikael Silvestre who has finally overcome a muscle injury. The
former Manchester United defender is likely to be benched for the clash against newly-promoted
Hull, although he may start ahead of either Kolo Toure or William Gallas if Arsene chooses to rest
one of his first-choice defensive pairing.
Blanco after last night's game/Getty Images A number of postings on this site have been spent
criticizing both MLS and Cuauhtemoc Blanco himself. However, last night I felt honored as I
witnessed live both Blanco's 100th cap and his final appearance for Mexico in a 2-1 victory over
Canada in Chiapas.
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has words of praise for midfielder Xabi Alonso for his inspired
performance in the 2-1 victory over defending champions Manchester United at Anfield on
Saturday.
Alonso's future was surrounded by speculation all summer where the Spain international was linked
with a move out of Anfield even as the 26-year-old central midfielder was away doing national duty
at the successful Euro 2008 finals.
LIVERPOOL are ready to reassure Daniel Agger his future remains at Anfield by offering the defender
a new deal.
Reports in Agger's homeland have claimed the Denmark international is unhappy at the club and
hinted he could buy out his contract next year.
Having missed almost the whole of last season with a metatarsal problem, the 23-year-old has been
restricted to just one appearance this campaign by the form of Jamie Carragher and Martin Skrtel
and didn't even make the bench for Saturday's 2-1 win over Manchester United.
Greece does not have many representatives in this year's edition of the UEFA Champions League, but
one of the national team's rising stars, Georgios Samaras, is hoping a fresh start will bring
European glory to Celtic Park. The Greece International has one Champions League appearance to his
credit, a late
Ladies & gentlemen, it was destiny. Almost three years after their last Champions League
appearance, Juventus's return to the top European competition could only have born the captain's
signature. In a moment of free-kick magic, Alessandro Del Piero delivered the victory to the Stadio
Olimpico crowd, a magistral ("magistral"?
RAFAEL BENITEZ has assured Jermaine Pennant he won't freeze him out at Liverpool.
The Anfield manager was prepared to let the winger leave the club during the recent transfer
window.
Pennant had talks with both Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers but ultimately declined the advances of
both clubs.
Hello all, after a comment in a post below, I wanted to come on and remind everyone that Saturday's
game will be played at 4 p.m. CT at Arrowhead Stadium. The match was originally scheduled for 7
p.m. CT at CommunityAmerica Ballpark, but it was moved in mid-July. Tell all your friends and
family who may be planning to attend to make sure they know of the change.

rivals Arsenal this season. Pavlyuchenko arrived at White Hart Lane from Spartak Moscow in a

Blackburn 0-4 Arsenal
Is there a better way to warm up for an arduous trip to the Ukraine than to thump Blackburn
4-0?
It's funny, because you could argue 4-0 was generous to Arsenal; the last two goals were classic
late game-killers and Blackburn caused our defence a fair amount of problems all day.
Newcastle's outstanding young goalkeeper, 20 year-old Tim Krul will make his first competitive
appearance for Newcastle United in nearly two seasons, when he turns out for the Reserves at Bolton
on Wednesday evening. Tim Krul - starts for Reserves tomorrow night The young Dutchman has made
only one senior appearance for Newcastle, but was the star man [.
Wizards stats after last night's game against Toronto.
Jimmy Conrad made his 170th appearance for the Wizards in all competitions, moving him past Mo
Johnston for sole possession of 7th place on that list.
Last night was Conrad's 149th league appearance for KC, Conrad ties Johnston on that list.
Given the more than encouraging start Carlos Tevez has made to the 2008/2009 season it was a
surprise to read the Manchester United team sheet for the weekend´s game against Chelsea and
see the Argentinian relegated to the substitutes bench. Sir Alex Ferguson instead opted to partner
Dimitar Berbatov and Wayne Rooney upfront.
There has been good news so far for boss Nigel Worthington as the squad has had no pull outs as
yet. Several players were involved in the weekend's action for their club, notably Steven Davis
playing in the Old Firm derby for Rangers, David Healy making a 30 minute appearance ...
It infuriates me when people are judged on their appearance. Just because Rafa Benitez is a tubby
mess, this does not give opposing supporters the right to abuse him. The Aston Villa supporters
went well over the top with their ‘Fat Spanish Waiter' banner. Admittedly, he is carrying a
few stone overweight, and he's [.
Folks this is entertainment of the highest order courtesy of Behind the Shield. Real Salt Lake's
Ian Joy and Kenny Deuchar are keeping it all 'Highlands-chic' on the Wasatch Front and pushing the
very limits of the "Does this need subtitles?" threshold with accents as thick as
Guinness and colorful phrases like "I'm sweatin' like a beaver in a wet suit".
I'm so damned happy and drunk right now that I don't know where to start. It's not even 9am
yet... crap. The best thing that could have happened was the early goal by Tevez. I think that
slapped the entire Liverpool squad in the face and said, "You better wake the hell up."
And they did.
This was the first match of the season that I can say that the Reds played the way they
should.
David Dunn will be reeling from the news that the achilles problem he picked up against Hull on
23rd August is likely to see him out for as much as four months. Scans he has undertaken show that
the injury is another serious one for the unlucky midfielder. Dunn is a very talented player who
was looking somewhere near his best at the start of this season.
Live from McFadden's in the uber-cool Power and Light District at 7 p.m. CT. Listen to it in KC on
810 WHB or online at www.kcwizards.com. Word on the street is that the author of Hillcrest Road
might just make an appearance tonight during the Conrad show. No one has yet confirmed that rumor,
however.
Well done to the good folk of Woolton for winning gold in the Britain in Bloom awards.
Because we are (infrequent) regulars at The Victoria on Quarry Street in Woolton we walk through it
fairly often and it's so obvious how much the appearance of the place is a labour of love to it's
residents (This year the floralness even seems to have spilt over to dear old Hunts Cross).
Josh Wolff's goal last night was his 30th goal in league play, which ties him with Davy Arnaud for
4th on the list.
Wolff's goal was also his 33rd goal in all competitions, breaking the tie with Mo Johnston for 4th
on that list.
Last night was Jimmy Conrad's 150th game for the Wizards in MLS.
