Rodgers denied visa, has contract terminated by Red Bulls

After a long and drawn-out process, Luke Rodgers will not be playing for the New York Red Bulls this season.

Rodgers was denied his P-1 visa, and therefore cannot play in MLS. As a result, the club has terminated his contract in an effort to free him to play elsewhere.
