On Tuesday, Carlos Tevez issued an apology to Manchester City Football Club. Despite this apparent
show of remorse, Roberto Mancini should refrain from using the Argentinean striker regularly. Even
though City are currently in need of a few more...

Three months and £10 million in fines after refusing Roberto Mancini's request that he warm up
a second time during a Champions League match and then fleeing back to Argentina without
permission, Carlos Tevez has apologized to the club that could not sell him. The following is a
transcript of Tevez's apology, with the help of his adviser Kia Joorabchian, to the man who vowed
that Carlos would never play for City again.
Richmond Kickers head coach Leigh Cowlishaw is interviewed about the concept of cost-free youth
academies and what that means for youth soccer in America. We suggest a few improvements for the
MLS All-Star Game, discuss Carlos Tevez' apology, Eddie Johnson's press conference and ask the
question: Would Liverpool fans rather have the Carling Cup trophy or a spot in next season's
Champions League?
CNN suspended political analyst Roland Martin on Wednesday for "offensive" tweets during the
Super Bowl that some critics said were anti-gay. Martin twitted about a commercial that showed
David Beckham in underwear: "If a dude at your Super Bowl party is hyped about David Beckham's H&M
underwear ad, smack the ish out of him.
Luis Suarez has issued an apology after refusing to shake Patrice Evra's hand during Liverpool's
2-1 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford. Suarez was roundly criticized for refusing to
shake the hand of Manchester United defender Patrice Evra during Saturday's match after both sides
had agreed before hand that they would do so.
Liverpool's management had seen and heard enough. Kenny Dalglish's head in the sand post match
interview coming on the heels of Luis Suarez's dastardly snub of Patrice Evra's handshake were
considered damaging enough for their MD, Ian Ayre, to come out condemning their striker.
In particular, Suarez's promise to shake hands with Evra made earlier in the week and then
reneging caused much anger.
From the official website:
"I have spoken with the manager since the game at Old Trafford and I realise I got things wrong.
I've not only let him down, but also the Club and what it stands for and I'm sorry. I made a
mistake and I regret what happened. I should have shaken Patrice Evra's hand before the game and I
want to apologise for my actions.
Speaking to Fox Sports Latin America, Carlos Tevez has today revealed that Sir Alex Ferguson is
the best manager he has played for, as well as former Argentina coach Marcelo Bielsa.
"I know Ferguson really doesn't want to lose this title race," said Tevez. "I think
Ferguson and Bielsa are the best managers.
Amazingly, Manchester United are still in touching distance with Manchester City at the top of
the table, despite our crippling injuries.
Carlos Tevez, who was City's top scorer last season, finally had enough and refused to play for
the blues again, having a strop in Munich then fleeing to Argentina.
Luis Suarez problems are not about to end anytime soon as Liverpool sponsors Standard Chatered
have expressed their disappointment at his refusal to shake hands with Evra during their Premier
League clash at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Many thought that his 8 match ban would have at least given him time to think about his actions
and responsibilities on the pitch and at least cool off the already tense atmosphere ahead of the
game by shaking hands with Evra, but that did not seem to be the case.
In terms of slow-seeming weeks, this one couldn't have come at a worse time. Saturday's debacle
at Old Trafford, the self-righteous moral crusades it inspired, and Sunday's apology avalanche from
Luis Suarez, Ian Ayre, and Kenny Dalglish made for a miserable 24 hours. We were desperate for a
break from all that, and then nothing happened.
Have to say that I am really surprised to hear that Carlos Tevez has issued a full apology to
Roberto Mancini and the City players, clearing the way for him to re-join the first team squad as
soon as he is fit.

The caravans trawl into town. Loud speakers wailing with off centred music. They take a break
only to announce the opening night half price offer for kids. They haul up in the local field. Let
the animals out to stretch their legs. That night they start their act. It's almost as if it's
engrained in human culture to tame then sensationalise something that's actually not all that
interesting in the first place.
During the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, Dwyane Wade broke Kobe Bryant's nose. On Monday, Wade sent a
note of apology to Kobe. Considering these are two of the biggest competitors in the NBA, it's a
bit of a surprise that Wade even went that far.
However, wade explained it like this: "It's all I can do.
