Hoops continue to impress
Being a QPR fan makes me very weary of all the hype building up around this side. I have seen us
flatter to deceive too often to get carried away too fast.
But I must admit that tonight was exciting. Unbeaten Ipswich away looked a tough game; it turned
into a stroll.
Most media outlets are reporting that Arsene Wenger pushed an assistant referee
and will be charged.
However, I'm told that this is not the case and he is in fact in trouble for patting the
official on the back in a sarcastic manner.
It sounds pretty ridiculous but his manner in recent times has become more and more fraught on
the touchline, especially when things are not going Arsenal's way.
Heavyweight boxer David Haye said his WBA title fight on Nov. 15 against Audley Harrison will be
as "one-sided as a gang rape." Understandably women's groups and others were appalled by the
comment. You might expect an apology from the fighter, but he isn't going to make one.
On Twitter, Haye said, "If I apologised for every stupid/ignorant thing i said, I wouldn't have
time for anything else during the day!
Following his late clumsy tackle on Barcelona's Lionel Messi, Atletico Madrid's red-carded
defender Tomas Ujfalusi has come out to apologize to his victim. How sincere this apology is will
be difficult for most people to judge considering the blatant nature of the so called tackle.
Tomas Ujfalusi has apologized to Barcelona's injured Lionel Messi.
Brazil's new wonder kid Neymar is set to miss tonight's Sao Paolo Clasico against
Corinthians as coach Dorival Junior aims to teach the teen star a lesson for his petulant display
against him during their 4-2 victory over Atletico GO a week ago.
Neymar was furious when Dorival denied him the chance to take a penalty which he had earned
choosing team mate Marcel over him.
Could this week get any worse? We have hit the "push a puppy out of the way" stage of cranky
already and certainly didn't need to see the cover of In Touch magazine's David Beckham + Hooker =
Anger Making Skankocity tag line.
So, in the name of our delicate constitutions, how about we just make a few key points about how
this story is being reported, and then if it's alright, we'll head back to checking if our local
chocolate factory has agreed to let us take up employment?
