Very few rules in title celebrations, but one of them is avoid slapping the medal presenters
across the back of the head. Pretty self-explanatory. And definitely don't do it when that
presenter is head of the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sports. Because while
sports are clearly involved (peripherally, one would guess, so is that important Defence
bit, so very few have more pull to have you taken out than he or she.
During Man City's victory parade on Monday, Carlos Tevez gleefully held up a poster that read
'RIP Fergie' that he procured from the crowd. The message was a play on Man United manager Sir Alex
Ferguson's response of "not in my lifetime" when asked in 2009 if his side would ever be underdogs
in a Manchester derby and prompted a quick apology from City.
The stunned silence lasted almost 5 minutes. It was in stark contrast with the noise and uproar
that had filled the air not too long ago, but it was still as deafening. They surveyed the field
around- the weary limbs, the bloodshot eyes, the slumped shoulders. They had all done their part,
there was no blame to pass around.
Hi, I'm Jules.....Yaaaay! We won today 3-2 at the Hawthorns, which means that we are in the
Champions League, third spot secured, C'mon Gunners!
And Happy Saint Totteringham's Day to all the Gunners out there! What an end to the season.
Absolutely fantastic!
Well the first thing I want to say is a little apology because I haven't been able to do the
last few videos.
AAAAHHHHHHHH I AM ARTUR BORUC AND THIS IS A LIST OF THINGS THAT MADE ME ANGRY THIS WEEK:
1. DELIO ROSSI ATTACKING ADEM LJAJIC IN THE DUGOUT -- THIS IS SO
EMBARRASSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE DISHEARTENED TO BE A MEMBER OF THIS
FIORENTINA TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I MEAN WHY COULDN'T IT BE ME?
By this point trips to Wembley had become the standard for Liverpool, and they headed south for
another final just three years after they defeated Everton. This time they would face Sunderland,
who were the first second division side in ten years to feature in an FA Cup Final. Liverpool were
the more talented and successful side, but the Northeast club had done their share of impressing
along the way to Wembley.
Not good news for Villa fans who'd be hoping their team are completely prepared for their
important relegation battle at the weekend, with no distractions. This brawl with bouncers outside
a nightclub took place after the clubs annual awards ceremony.
The 3 players involved were Delph, Collins and Herd, all 3 of which have made a full apology since
the incident took place.
The official apology from the MLS:
During the latest episode of the ExtraTime Radio podcast on MLSsoccer.com, one of the
hosts -- Simon Borg -- made inappropriate remarks regarding female fans of Major League Soccer.
These remarks were unacceptable and in no way reflect the values of MLS, its clubs, players, staff,
or MLSsoccer.
I won't throw too many more flames into this fire. We all know the comments that were said by
MLSSoccer.com's Simon Borg on Monday's episode of ExtraTime Radio. That episode was pulled down
yesterday, it is now available for download once again. It has been edited from it's original
version to include an apology for any offense.

April 24th 2012: After 37 minutes in Chelsea's Champions League semi-final at the Nou Camp,
Terry was sent off for kneeing Alexis Sanchez in the back off the ball. From the dressing room,
Terry preposterously claimed: "The player checked his run and piled into the back of me. He put
his weight on the back foot, that's why my knee went up.
Another case of a football club being run poorly, with Norwich City calling in the police after
a 17 year old season-ticket holder leaked pictures of the clubs new kit on the Internet prior to
its launch.
Chris Brown managed to obtain pictures of Norwich's latest kit, which, by the way, is still
yellow and green (surprise surprise.

Former Newcastle United schemer Emre Belözoğlu (above left) is at the centre of yet another
racism storm after Trabzonspor midfielder Didier Zokora accused the Turkish star of racially
abusing him during a league clash with Fenerbahce at the weekend.
TweetReferee Martin Atkinson has issued a quiet apology to Harry Redknapp after awarding a goal by
Juan Mata that never was during Chelsea's 5-1 FA Cup semi-final win over Tottenham. Atkinson ruled
that Mata's 50th minute shot had crossed the line when to the naked eye, and later on T.V replays
proved that the ball [.

We kick off this edition of 'Weekend Wrap' with an epic photo of
Arsenal's goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, attempting ballet like
pimps do. The Gunners recently filmed a video with dancers from the English National
Ballet in a tie-up to promote their Official Automotive partner.
TweetManchester City striker Mario Balotelli has issued an apology to the club after his latest
red-card shame against Arsenal. An unamused Rolly Pelovangu can only yawn in boredom. It has been
happening too often for too long now. After a smelly Tube journey to work, I waltz into the In The
Stands offices, clear the [.
Manchester City have banned BBC journalist Dan Roan from their grounds after excerpts from his
interview with City football executive Patrick Vieira after the comments he made about local rivals
Manchester United were taken 'out of context'.
Vieira was quoted as saying that referees favour United whenever they play at home is now
denying the remarks saying that his comments were made to seem biased against United.

Major League Soccer has sent a strong message that should make players think twice before using
controversial language in any forum, whether it be on the field or through social media.
The league suspended Houston Dynamo winger Colin Clark three games, fined him an undisclosed
amount and mandated him to attend diversity and sensitivity training for using an anti-gay slur
toward a Seattle Sounders ball boy during the clubs' match Friday night.
I'll be brief with this because I think MLS got it right.
MLS Commissioner Don Garber has suspended Clark for three games and fined him an undisclosed
amount for using unacceptable and offensive language towards a ball boy in the seventh minute of
the game in Seattle on Friday, March 24. Commissioner Garber also mandated that Clark attend
diversity and sensitivity training.

Downright classy stuff from Houston Dynamo midfielder Colin Clark who, during Dynamo's 2-0
defeat against Seattle Sounders on Friday, yelled 'f**king f*gg*t' in a young ballboy's face after
the kid had the temerity to drop the football near him rather than directly at his
feet while Clark was trying to take a quick throw.

Houston Dynamo player Colin Clark stirred up controversy during his side's match against Seattle
Sounders by shouting a homophobic slur at a ball boy. Clark labelled the youngster a "f*cking
faggot" as he went to retrieve the ball for a throw-in. He later tweeted an apology for the
outburst. He wrote: "I'd like to offer [.
I'll be honest. I wanted to stay away from this story but it's something that is worth brining
up here. During Friday's Seattle-Houston game, Dynamo midfielder Colin Clark yelled a pretty nasty
two-word slur, a homophobic slur, to a Sounders ball boy.
Clark posted an apology for his remarks on Twitter a few hours after the match.
What should have been a perfect outing for United fans Andy Thomas and his son Jamie last
Saturday turned tragic when a wayward shot from Wayne Rooney hit and broke Jamie's wrist during the
team's pre-game training session.
Andy who had bought front row tickets for his son to see the United stars live in action didn't
know the risks associated with seating at the front as he later learnt just how costly they were
to become.
It only took two thirds of the Premier League season but Kenny Dalglish finally seems to have
recognized the error of his ways in continuing to play Charlie Adam, opting to drop him for the
second match running whilst also showing none of the previous sentiment he had shown to Jordan
Henderson, who was also resigned to a place on the bench.

Like the hellish finale from one of Marko Marin's recurring nightmares, a
member of Sevilla's medical staff was subjected to the horrors of being struck by an empty water
bottle, chucked absent-mindedly at him by Pep Guardiola during Barca's 2-0 win at the Sanchez
Pijuan yesterday evening.
The head of the Premiership, Dave Richards (Sir, if you're into that sort of thing), had
everyone of his colleagues backing away slowly, waving their hands while embarrassingly mouthing "I
don't know him." with his rant on how the world stole football from England. Or maybe why England
is better than everyone else.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic helped Milan go four points clear in Serie A last Sunday in a 2-0 win over
Lecce, but events on the field were overshadowed after the match when the Swede exchanged angry
words with Sky Sports journalist Vera Spandini, resorting to the schoolgirl playground tactic of
flicking his hairband at her.
Have to say an apology at the start of this one to any Rangers fans reading, not a piss take more
just a saluting of the bonkers inventivness of the Celtic fans schadenfraude over the Rangers
administration.
"We're having a party when Rangers die"
onto "Jelly and ice cream when Rangers die" and "pass the parcel when Rangers die" and then "Doing
the conga when Rangers die" (presume "Musical statues when Rangers die" is there somewhere) then we
have the slightly crazy "Doing the Huddle when Rangers die" and the truly bonkers "Passing wee
Andy" and "Lateral movement when Rangers die".
These are indeed rough times for Wolves. Their annual dance with relegation saw the dismissal of
Mick McCarthy, the most entertaining thing they had goin', and the subsequent look for a
replacement failed miserably. You couldn't fault their fans for being a touch less than optimistic
on the short term outlook for the club.
No, the site is not dead. It's just in a bit of a hiatus right now. See, a funny thing called
"life" caught up to us here at the Arsenal Offside. Darren, Brenton, and Martin have busy work
schedules. As for JG, I have a pretty packed school schedule that involves various extracurricular
activities that are sapping my available time and energy- yay for realistically applying to good
colleges!
To err is human. To err gravely is footballer. In the last few months, we've seen some pretty
atrocious actions by a few soccer players. The EPL has been marred by dissidents and racists. La
Liga has been cursed by malevolent dubsteppers. However, I always hate the sin, not the sinner. And
by "sin" I don't mean "Sin Bad", although I never did get the contemporary comedian's jokes.
It's MLS roster compliance day, and there has already been one surprising development ahead of
the 5 p.m. deadline.
The Vancouver Whitecaps waived one-time U.S. international Lee Nguyen, a player acquired through
the league's weighted lottery process less than three months ago after returning to the United
States following career stops in Europe and Vietnam.
This past Saturday's match between Milan and Juventus at the San Siro had been billed as the
decisive battle for the top spot on the Serie A table; however, the match ended in a 1-1 draw
thanks to goals from Antonio Nocerino in the 14th minute for Milan and from Alessandro Matri in the
83rd minute for Juventus.
Kobe Bryant probably wishes he would have skipped the 2012 NBA All-Star Game now. Not only did
Dwyane Wade break his nose, the impact of Wade's hard foul caused a concussion. Now Kobe's status
going forward is unknown.
Getting diagnosed with a concussion is now a big deal in the NBA. To get cleared for action
again, Kobe is going to have to convince an independent doctor that he's free from all concussion
symptoms.
During the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, Dwyane Wade broke Kobe Bryant's nose. On Monday, Wade sent a
note of apology to Kobe. Considering these are two of the biggest competitors in the NBA, it's a
bit of a surprise that Wade even went that far.
However, wade explained it like this: "It's all I can do.
The caravans trawl into town. Loud speakers wailing with off centred music. They take a break
only to announce the opening night half price offer for kids. They haul up in the local field. Let
the animals out to stretch their legs. That night they start their act. It's almost as if it's
engrained in human culture to tame then sensationalise something that's actually not all that
interesting in the first place.
Richmond Kickers head coach Leigh Cowlishaw is interviewed about the concept of cost-free youth
academies and what that means for youth soccer in America. We suggest a few improvements for the
MLS All-Star Game, discuss Carlos Tevez' apology, Eddie Johnson's press conference and ask the
question: Would Liverpool fans rather have the Carling Cup trophy or a spot in next season's
Champions League?
On Tuesday, Carlos Tevez issued an apology to Manchester City Football Club. Despite this apparent
show of remorse, Roberto Mancini should refrain from using the Argentinean striker regularly. Even
though City are currently in need of a few more...
