Man City 3-2 QPR was an eventful game to say the least. Manchester City won their first Premier
League title in almost 40 years but the game will also be remembered for the actions of a former
Man City player. Joey Barton, who left the club in 2007, has been an enigma his whole career.
There's no doubt that Barton is a talented midfielder with a terrific range of passing combined
with the work rate and determination that every captain should possess but his temperament has
never improved with age.

Suarez bans himself from saying "negro" on English pitches Liverpool have gone some way towards
repairing the damage done by their mismanagement of the Luis Suarez racism controversy after their
star striker issued an apology. Only yesterday, manager Kenny Dalglish was sticking to his guns as

Before calling Arsene Wenger 'Two-Bob' perhaps Clive Allen should take a long good look in the
mirror.
Mind you, I don't think there is a mirror out there powerful enough to withhold his ugly mug for
longer than a second.
If Clive Allen was dignified in victory then maybe Wenger would have shook his hand in the
aftermath of our defeat against the Spuds.

morning that Man City chief exec Garry Cook has been reported to the FA after being accused of
inadvertently sending a frankly appalling email to Nedum Onouha's cancer-suffering mother.

If an EPL footballer accidentally kicks a fellow player in the face during a goalmouth scramble
in a pre-season friendly (0.34), we are unlikely to run a post on the matter. We prefer to avoid
violent confrontation unless alcohol honour is involved.
