London based Standard Chartered Bank has scored a deal to be Liverpool's main sponsor for the next
4 seasons. SCB, as I will conveniently call them, were also one of the organisations in the running

pounds per season to [.
Good News.

Chris Toy (Studs Up) recently interviewed David Prosperi, Vice President (Global Public
Relations) at Aon. It's an interesting read and it's nice to see how Manchester United is viewed
from outside football i.e. once you take away football partisanship.
For those of us who have supported the club from before 99 or even before the Premier League
started (I got in at '94), it's quite amazing to see United completely dominate English football
for the best part of two decades and as a result become the most popular and most valuable sports

Chris Toy from Studs Up has conducted an interview with David Prosperi, VP, Global Public
Relations at Aon Coporation, who talks on a variety of issues involved with the new
sponsorship.
In the wake of Manchester United's £80 million four-year agreement shirt sponsorship agreement
with American insurance giant, Aon, Liverpool could well be on their way to the similar lucrative
deal next summer -- but don't count on it being with current sponsor Carlsberg.

Christian Purslow, the managing director of Liverpool, has vowed to invest the proceeds from the
club's record-equalling £80 million sponsorship deal with Standard Chartered, the London-based
