Sorry for letting this blog rot away in the late August sun for so many weeks. Other work took over and left some time but not much energy to spend on other things. 2009 Recap: Yes, I know that isn't the Rapids current logo. I yearn for the Rapids of old. Let's call them Colorado B.D. (Before the Dick). This year, the squad showed so much promise. In fact, it looked as if they couldn't miss the playoffs. However, shoddy play away from their home field resulted in them losing the playoff tiebreaker with Salt Lake and spending another season with no date to the Big Dance.
