The last 24 hours have been particularly hectic for the 16 coaches heading to Euro 2012. They have
been busy finalising their squads for the summer football festival and after having done so six
Milan players have made the grade. As Sweden's captain, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is Milan's biggest name.
He will wear the number ‘10' [.
National team coach Cesare Prandelli has made the Azzurri's roster official, and communicated
his list to UEFA.
Compared his previous version, the manager has left out Andrea Ranocchia and
Mattia Destro. Doubts remain on the eligibility of Leonardo Bonucci, currently
under investigation in the massive betting scandal surrounding Italian soccer this week.

Cesare Prandelli trimmed down his squad list from 32 to 25 players for the friendly against
Luxembourg on Tuesday evening at Stadio Tardini of Parma. Those that didn't "make the cut" are
goalkeeper Viviano, defenders Astori, Bocchetti,
Criscito, and midfielders Cigarini, Schelotto,
Verratti.

This has been a fantastic season in Serie A where Juventus ended the season unbeaten winning their
twenty eighth Scudetto. AC Milan and Udinese will be playing in the Champions League next season
while Napoli, Lazio and Inter will be in the Europa. Novara, Cesena and Lecce were sadly relegated
from Serie A to Serie B.

In 4-3-3 formation....

(Juventus)
A relatively easy call to make. 'Superman' has been back to his best form in Serie A this season
and won his fair share of points for La Vecchia Signora with some outstanding personal
performances.
You probably have seen a leaked image of what Milan will look like next season, but, here are the
official images courtesy of Adidas.
We are in the final weeks of a compelling Serie A season and to top it off, we could see a big club
get relegated this season to Serie B. Genoa have been in freefall and not have won in the league
since early February. Genoa sit one point above the relegation zone and a rejuvenated Lecce side
under Serse Cosmi are gunning for them.
AC Milan recently launched their new kits for the 2013 season with a campaign
featuring Ibrahimovic, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Antonio Nocerino and Thiago Silva.
Let's not forget Ambrosini, who was strategically positioned at the front because
well, you all know how much Milan love their veterans!
"I don't feel that my job is at risk". These were the words of Max Allegri following his side's
surprise defeat to Fiorentina on Saturday. The loss enabled Juventus – still unbeaten this season
– to leapfrog the Rossoneri into first place. Consequently, and most predictably, the Milan
tactician has come under pressure with his [.
Barcelona moved into the UEFA Champions League semifinals with a 3-1 second leg win (same score
on aggregate) over AC Milan.
It was another great performance from Barca as Lionel Messi scored two goals and Andres Iniesta
added one. There was a little cause of concern in the first half as Milan's Antonio Nocerino made
it 1-1 (Milan would have advanced with a draw).
The road to recovery just got increasingly longer for Toronto FC goalkeeper Stefan Frei.
Toronto FC announced that Frei will be out 4-to-6 months after undergoing surgery for torn
ligaments in his left ankle. The club originally had said that Frei would miss 10 weeks with a
broken left fibula, which he suffered during a non-contact play in training.
Barcelona continue their attempt in defending their Champions League trophy after successfully
beating Ac Milan 3-1 at Nou Camp as Lionel Messi scored a brace in the match, while Andres Iniesta
sealing the victory over the Italian side.
It wasn't an easy game as at one point Milan did managed to make the scoreline 1-1 before the
Catalan eventually edged out with a pretty lucky goals indeed, despite they did create several
chances.
Barcelona and Bayern Munich swept into the Champions League semifinals as Lionel Messi became
the competition's most prolific scorer in a single season.
Messi scored two first-half penalty kicks and Andres Iniesta added another goal after the break
to give Barcelona a 3-1 victory over AC Milan following a 0-0 draw in Italy.
It was in the fourtieth minute of the game. It was one a piece to both sides, a score-line that
would have put Milan through and Barcelona out. The Catalans had no doubt been the better side,
but, they had not converted their possession into goals. Just like last week. Milan were on a high

Lionel Messi scored twice from the penalty spot in the first half and Andres Iniesta added a
third goal after the interval to guide Barcelona to a 3-1 win over AC Milan at Camp Nou, sealing a
fifth consecutive semifinal berth for the Catalans.
The defending champions had expressed concerns over the aerial ability of Milan's in-form
striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic but it was actually Antonio Nocerino who scored the visitors' only
goal.

Arsenal in the last sixteen.
Juventus snatched a late equaliser to remain unbeaten in all competitions this season and earn a
place in the final of the Coppa Italia after defeat AC Milan 4-3 on aggregate.
Juve took the lead through club legend Alessandro Del Piero in the 28th minute before second
half goals from Djamel Mesbah and Maxi Lopes made it 2-1 on the night and 3-3 on aggregate with
just 9 minutes left to play.
TweetAC Milan moved four points clear of Juventus in Serie A after a 2-0 win over Lecce thanks to
goals by Antonio Nocerino and a screamer from Zlatan Ibrahimovic Meanwhile, Juventus could only
draw (yet again) to midtable Genoa leaving Milan four points clear and in pole position to retain
their Scudetto crown.
Arsenal continued their good league from into the Champions League but can consider themselves a
little bit unlucky not to execute a perfect fairy tale in Europe after 'only' managed to score
three goals against Ac Milan.
Losing 4-0 in the first leg, those three goals obviously weren't good enough to take Arsene
Wenger's team advancing but they can be confident with their current form in their attempt to grab
the Champions League spot by the end of season.

Despite the theatrics, the four-goal deficit was just too much for Arsenal to overcome.
The Gunners fell just short of a would-be historic UEFA Champions League effort, defeating AC
Milan 3-0 but still finishing a goal shy of the Italians over the course of both legs, as Milan
advanced to the quarterfinals on a 4-3 aggregate.
This past Saturday's match between Milan and Juventus at the San Siro had been billed as the
decisive battle for the top spot on the Serie A table; however, the match ended in a 1-1 draw
thanks to goals from Antonio Nocerino in the 14th minute for Milan and from Alessandro Matri in the
83rd minute for Juventus.
Juventus escaped with a 1-1 draw yet the performance at the San Siro left a lot to be desired.
The Bianconeri looked out of sorts and lacked composure during the first 45 minutes against the
hosts. Juve only took charge once Milan's players appeared to slow down and suffer from fatigue.
Without taking away credit from the Rossoneri who were in control for around 60 minutes, Juve
lacked energy early on and were undone by Leonardo Bonucci's mistakes which allowed Antonio
Nocerino to strike first.

In which AC Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino scores a hugely deflected goal against his former
club during Saturday's controversial (more on that in a second) 1-1 draw against Juventus a fairly
unimpressive goal that still manages to send the partisan Milan TV commentator into some kind of
apoplectic rage.
League leaders Milan were dominant during the first-half and the early stages of the second
period against their rivals Juventus. The Rossoneri scored after another mistake by Leonardo
Bonucci. The Juve centre-back committed two mistakes leading to Milan's goal scored by former Juve
midfielder Antonio Nocerino.

One wouldn't expect one of the games of the season to come out of the Carling Cup but that's
exactly what happened when Liverpool edged Cardiff City via penalties in a thrilling final at
Wembley.
Liverpool seemed to have dispatched the Championship side when Dirk Kuyt scored a wonderful goal
in the 108th minute but Cardiff refused to give up.
Italy's national squad is Balotelli free but this man finds a place
Cesare Prandelli named a 23 man squad which was top heavy with Juve talent. In form striker
Alessandro Matri joins compatriots, Ginaluigi Buffon, Giorgio Chiellini, Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo
Bonucci, Claudio Marchisio and Andrea Pirlo.
One of the biggest matches played this weekend between the two top teams. Milan is leading but
Juventus has a game in hand. Antonio Nocerino gave the Rossoneri the lead. It could have been worse
as Sulley Muntari's header clearly broke the line before Buffon gathered the ball but it was
declared offside.
It all started according to plan. Milan took the initiative from the beginning against Juventus,
dominating possession and going ahead thanks to another strike from our free scoring midfielder,
Antonio Nocerino. Ten minutes later it should have been two. But, it was not. Roberto Romagnoli,
the assistant referee, somehow failed to see how Sulley Muntari's [.
Veteran playmaker Andrea Pirlo, legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon and red-hot Juventus
teammate Alessandro Matri headline the 23-man squad chosen by Italy to face the U.S. Men's National
Team on Wednesday in Genoa.
Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli was left off the squad by Italy manager Cesar Prandelli,
who still questions the star forward's maturity.
Buffon (gold), seen here in the USA's match with Italy at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, could make
make his 113th appearance for the Azzurri on Wednesday.
Four-time World Cup champion Italy named its 23-man roster as the squad hosts the U.S. Men's
National Team on Wednesday in Genoa.
Ten minutes after Antonio Nocerino gave Milan a 1-0 lead in the first half of their battle for
first place against Juventus, Sulley Muntari headed in a second goal for Milan and even though the
ball was well past the goal line, it was not counted.
Of course, this could be yet another example of why goal line technology is necessary, but being
Serie A, there's always that chance the officials had reason to conveniently not see a bright
yellow ball bounce a couple of feet into the goal before being pulled back out.
A sublime individual effort from Kevin-Prince Boateng and a fine link-up play between Zlatan
Ibrahimovic and Robinho has propelled AC Milan to a 2-0 lead over the visiting Arsenal at San
Siro.
In the first leg of the highly anticipated Round of 16 clash between the Gunners and the Italian
champions, the latter outfit has so far been in complete control at half-time.
