Who needs the Ballon d'Or when you can hand out a little garbage?
Overshadowing the shortlist announcement of the biggest award in world football yesterday is the
announcement of the best: the Bidone d'Oro (Golden Trash Can), for Serie A's most useless
player.
It's a joke, but damnit does it say so much.
The shortlist for the annual Bidone d'Oro has recently been announced with a number of high profile

To honour those who have had a particularly terrible year, the Bidone d'Oro Golden Bin is a prize
given to the worst footballer in Serie A each year and the winner.
(This page has been quiet for far too long, which is entirely my fault. Apologies, and from here

dealt with.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, SkySports24 have revealed that Adriano Galliani and Cassano's

Seems about time for another 'remember what was, what could've been' Ronaldinho
YouTuber.
The biggest transfer news of the summer was, once Xavi and Gerard Pique failed to pry Cesc from

The year has come to a close, and as is the fashion we're looking over our favorite stories to
compile a starting eleven, Cult Football style. The players on our squad aren't always the most
talented, but they tend to bring a joy, or promise, or general absurdity to the game. We hope
you've enjoyed the time you've spent with us over the last six months, and here's a wish of good
fortune to all in the new year!
