Everton is playing the MLS All-Stars tonight in Salt Lake City at 9:30pm Eastern time live on
ESPN2 and Galavision. I thought a little video about them would be fitting. English soccer fans
can come up with some songs I tell ya! I love how the producer of this video only shows Everton

It's official. Unknown American Anton Peterlin has signed for Everton.Â
We first heard about Peterlin in late April / early May - when he was impressing on trial after
graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
Now the improbable dream has become a reality for the 22 year old defensive midfielder.

As reported on Soccernet this morning, Everton have announced their first signing of the summer
American midfielder Anton Peterlin. My first thought when I read this was that they mixed up
this player's nationality. I was wrong. Just who is Peterlin? He's (another) defensive mid.Â
He stands at 5-11, 170, and he is a Cal Poly mustang.

American Anton Peterlin has signed with Everton. Who you ask? Peterlin, is a former midfielder
for Cal Poly, and UC Santa Cruz as well as having played in the PDL as many collegiate footballers
do with the Ventura County Fusion.
Peterlin grew up in San Francisco around the game with Danish parents and developed a love for
the beautiful game.
