As Egypt reels from the tragic deaths in Port Said, national team coach Bob Bradley is taking a
role in the rebuilding.
The former U.S. manager joined in a non-violent protest march on Thursday as public anger
against the interior ministry grows.
Anton, or is that your name? Now, touch my skin. Worship it.
One should ask the FA why they did such a thorough job investigating Luis Suarez's racial abuse
of Patrice Evra and then drop the ball on John Terry doing the same against Anton Ferdinand? Suarez
gets an eight match ban, while Terry gets rewarded with a deferment of his trial till after the
2012 Euro is over and retains his captaincy of the Three Lions to boot.
Just a quick round-up this morning:
Terry will go to the Euros...
• Shambolic! RT @RobHarrisUK BREAKING: England captain Terry not to stand trial on
charge of racially abusing opponent until after Euro 2012.

John Terry will go on trial for his alleged racist comments against Anton Ferdinand on 9th July,
just nine days after the conclusion of EURO 2012. Terry, who will captain England in the tourney,
pleaded not guilty to a 'racially-aggravated public order offence' via a solicitor at a court
hearing this morning.
Chelsea and England captain John Terry's problems are not about to end any time soon after
fellow players and anti-racist campaigners called on Fabio Capello to exclude him from his squad
for the European championships.
These sentiments come after Wednesday's landmark ruling where the FA announced that Terry would
only face trial for allegedly racially abusing Anton Ferdinand until after the tournament.
John Terry has today been stripped of the England captaincy for a second time following
allegations of racism.
Terry allegedly called Anton Ferdinand a "black cunt" in Chelsea's defeat against QPR. In last
weekend's Cup game between the two clubs the FA scrapped the traditional handshake ahead of
kick-off after it became apparent that the QPR players would snub Terry in support of
Ferdinand.

Young midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong is one of the Premier League's more charismatic chaps, with
his all-action and passionate performances on the pitch endearing him to Wolves' fans ever since he
made his loan move from Arsenal.
The English FA have been forced to strip John Terry of the England captaincy after outcry over his
racism case being put back till after this Summer's Euro 2012 Finals in Poland and Ukraine with
many looking for the Chelsea defender to be stripped of even an
England Jersey
.
Tory MP Damian Collins who has campaigned for FIFA reform hit out saying:
"He is in a public position as England captain.
It's like deja vu, all over again John Terry was ditched as England captain this morning. 'Sources
close to the Chelsea captain' said he was stripped of the armband metaphorically, alas at 10am
during a phone call from FA chairman David Bernstein. The decision was made because Terry is due to
stand trial [.
In that special, unique way that only they can, the FA managed to set a dozen hungry cats
amongst the pigeons of the John Terry case this morning. Their announcement, that Terry had been
stripped of the England captaincy for this summer's European Championships but that he would still
be available for selection by Fabio Capello sends out a message so mixed that it would require an
FA-branded centrifuge to be able to properly decipher.
Queens Park Rangers boss Mark Hughes has slammed the decision to delay John Terry's racism
hearing until July. Terry was involved in an alleged racially-motivated clash with QPR defender
Anton Ferdinand, and Hughes is upset that the trial will interrupt his side's preseason plans.
"They've made a decision that impacts on one of my players, they've given a date which is slap
bang in the middle of pre-season," Hughes said.
Feliz Futbolitinos! We kick off this weekend's edition with Santos'

selecao's latest national team kit unveiling yesterday. You all know that
Pele signed up to be on this but they couldn't find the right goalkeeping outfit
which said "O perfeito" (The Perfect One) for him.
Liverpool legend Steve Nicol has slammed the FA's decision to strip Chelsea's John Terry of the
England captaincy. Terry is currently awaiting trial for the alleged racial abuse of QPR's Anton
Ferdinand, and although he is innocent until proven guilty, the FA has take action that could be
construed as a punishment.
For the second time, Chelsea's John Terry has been stripped of the England captaincy. The
English Football Association confirmed that Terry was informed of the decision by FA chairman David
Bernstein in a phone call Friday morning.
Terry is due to stand trial in July over racial abuse allegations after an incident with QPR's
Anton Ferdinand and there has been mounting pressure within England to remove Terry as England's
captain ahead of this summer's Euro 2012 competition
The FA released a statement on their web site which read:
Following the decision to adjourn the court case against John Terry to July, The Football
Association confirm he will not captain the England team until the allegations against him are
resolved.

Over England way, John Terry has been stripped of his national team captaincy. The move comes in
the midst of Terry's ongoing prosecution for racially abusing Anton Ferdinand, with a trial on the
incident set for the summer. Terry's leadership of England was under question before, but the
controversy surrounding what he allegedly said to Ferdinand was the tipping point for removing him
as captain.
Rio Ferdinand was booed throughout United's 3-3 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge yesterday.
Whilst Rio has never been a popular player with Chelsea fans, given his West Ham and Leeds history,
as well as the issues over the England captaincy, it was clear that Rio was singled out for special
abuse yesterday thanks to John Terry's charge for racially abusing Anton Ferdinand.
John Terry has been England captain three times. He has been stripped of the captaincy three
times. Rio Ferdinand has been England captain once. He does not want the England captaincy again.
Steven Gerrard has been overlooked for the England captaincy several times. He is no longer a
guaranteed starter in the side.
Fabio Capello will not lead England to this summer's European Championship after resigning from his
post as manager. The Italian's resignation comes following crunch talks with the FA over his
outspoken criticism of the decision to strip John Terry of the England captaincy before his trial
for allegedly racially abusing Anton Ferdinand.
John Terry, quien afronta
un juicio por presuntos insultos racistas que habría proferido, durante un partido de la liga
Premier (octubre 2011) a
Anton Ferdinand, defensor de Queens Park Rangers y hermano de Rio
(Ferdinand), su compañero de zaga en la selección.
Fabio Capello resigns as England manager but who will replace him? - The 90th Minute Soccer
Blog
England currently has no manager as Fabio Capello recently resigned. It was pretty clear Capello
would be out after the upcoming Euro 2012 and his resignation was a surprise. The problem between
Capello and the English Football Association was over John Terry.

Blackburn Rovers 3-2 Queens Park Rangers Premier League 11th February 2012
Despite the recent introduction of new boss Mark Hughes, along with the likes of Bobby Zamora,
QPR look set for a long relegation dogfight this season after going down 3-2 to one of their
rivals, Blakcburn Rovers, at Ewood Park.
Some say that you never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory. When Luis Suarez
refused to shake the hand of Patrice Evra at Old Trafford yesterday however, you sensed the
significance of the moment would shape the longevity of the memory. Relations between England's two
most most successful clubs - who have not exchanged a player since 1964 - continue to sour, both on
and off the pitch.
The fuss about handshakes is all the rage at the moment, after the FA cancelled the pre-match
handshake between Chelsea and QPR following rumours that Anton Ferdinand's teammates would all be
willing the snub John Terry's hand.
Last weekend we had more fuss, with speculation then suggesting that Rio Ferdinand wouldn't
shake Terry's hand in support of his brother.
Some thoughts:
The game was Fulham under Jol in microcosm: lots of lovely attacking play in the first half,
then a complete shutdown and hanging on phase that could easily have seen us lose the three
points. I don't know why it happens but it is frustrating. That was a 4-0 win waiting to
happen.
