Football Association for racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra, cited for calling him
a "Negro" on multiple occasions in a game in October. Suarez will also be fined £40,000.
Suárez has 14 days to appeal the ruling and sentence.
On the 23 October, John Terry was caught on camera blatantly screaming a racist expletive at QPR's
Anton Ferdinand. Whether he had racist intent is open to debate, but the available evidence was/is
definitely persuasive enough to warrant an FA charge...or so you would have though. For two days

Word has just filtered through that John Terry is to be brought before the beak of the Crown
Prosecution Service, after being charged with a 'racially aggravated public order offence'
pertaining to the alleged abuse he alledgedly flung in the direction of Anton Ferdinand at Loftus
Road back in October.
A day after Liverpool's Luis Suarez was given an eight-game ban for saying racist remarks toward
Patrice Evra, John Terry finds himself in hot water for a similar offense.
The Chelsea captain faces criminal charges after the Crown Prosecution Service found sufficient
evidence to go ahead and take Terry to court on a charge of a racially aggrivated public order
offense.

Chelsea players have had a request to wear t-shirts in support of their club skipper John Terry
refused by the club.
Liverpool players were criticised after their t-shirts worn during the warm-up in their last
game had slogans in support of Luis Suarez who has been banned (pending appeal) for eight games for
alleged racism.
I realise this is slightly old news now but what the hell John Terry is set to face prosecution
over racism claims during a match with QPR a few weeks back. A complaint from a member of the
public was made to the police regarding the incident in which Terry squared up to Ferdinand before
apparently insulting him verbally.
The Society of Black Lawyers (SBL) has condemned both Liverpool and Chelsea for appearing to excuse
the alleged racism of Luis Suarez and John Terry.
Peter Herbert OBE and co-chair of the organization said, "To our knowledge, neither club has
bothered to conduct its own independent investigation or hold a disciplinary hearing.
