Coach Bob Bradley and U.S. Soccer announced the players that will join the January training camp (Camp Cupcake! with mostly MLS-based players) at the Home Depot Center. Bradley will name players to suit up for the international friendly against South American side Chile on the 22nd (also at the HDC) at a later date.

U.S. men's national team head coach Bob Bradley has called in 24 players for the team's upcoming January camp in California and the squad is a young one.

Juan Agudelo, Teal Bunbury, Tim Ream, Eric Alexander, Zach Loyd and Sean Johnson are six of the young players called in to the January national team camp.

It nearly time for the annual nearly all-MLS based US Men's National Team camp in January. Bob Bradley has called up 24 players for the Jan. 22 friendly against Chile. Only four of the players called into the camp are not from MLS rosters.

The big surprises of this camp were names like FC Dallas' Eric Alexander, Zac Loyd, and Ugo Ihemelu getting called in as well as guys like Colorado's Anthony Wallace and San Jose's Sam Cronin.

Bob Bradley goes young and looks to unearth talent here early in the cycle. Cusp players like Heath Pearce, Robbie Rogers, Eddie Gaven are not called in.

But you knew already the US Ambassador to Brazil was going to be there...

Bob Bradley has called up some fresh faces into the US Mens National Team training camp in preparation for the USA friendly against Chile on January 22. This is a chance for the USA to begin putting together a new & stronger World Cup squad from the fruits of the ever improving development of US soccer talent.

Sean Johnson will be a part of Bob Bradley's 24 man USMNT training camp ahead of the January 22 friendly against Chile. Johnson's first call into training for the Nats will see him battle Dominic Cervi, Matt Pickens, and Nick Rimando for his first cap. Oddly enough, three of the four keepers invited to camp have Fire ties.

Now that Major League Soccer has announced the schedule for First Kick 2011, fans can start to plan for the 2011 MLS season.

Twenty MLS players have been named in Bradley's 24-man roster including New York Red Bulls striker Juan Agudelo, San Jose forward Chris Wondolowski, and Sporting KC's Teal Bunbury, who will take part in a three-week training camp ahead of the game.
