Over the weekend this little site turned 4 years old.

I nearly forgot about it and last year I totally skipped over it. What can I say I'm getting older and birthdays are hard to remember for my family members much less a blog on the internet.

Anyways, I wanted to thank all of you who've helped push me this far.

With my wife and I celebrating our anniversary for a few days, there's been plenty of Timbers news around before the home opener so I provide some recaps to the big events. With the 2010-2011 season all wrapped up, reflecting on days gone by has been the trend. Today that trend extends a bit further back, as we celebrate the anniversary of Liverpool's victory over Milan in Istanbul and their fifth European Cup.

If there is anything to this theory and whether we should be taking what managers say during times of success at face value is, of course, a matter for conjecture in itself then we can probably assume that losing can become a habit, and there are few clubs that have developed as much of a habit over the course of 2011 as Lincoln City.
