Five players on Mexico's national team were suspended from the Gold Cup, and from international football, because of positive results from a doping test conducted on 21 May. I assume you're all perfectly aware already, but today is 'World Animal Day' (of course you're aware, it was hardly worth mentioning) and, as such, we've taken the opportunity to cobble together a first-choice XI of pun-tastic footballing 'animals'.

The Woodland Park Zoo and Seattle Sounders teamed up have some animals play with soccer balls. Who doesn't like big cats, wolves, bears and a miniture donkey with the game we love?
