08-09 LA LIGA STANDING: 7th
Deportivo was just four points away from qualifying to this year's Europa League. Deportivo made a
good run towards the end of last season, but fell short in the last three rounds to get back in
European competition. Despite a 7th place finish last season, Deportivo had a below average scoring
offense.
Game 1 and well i should admit i was worried.
A couple of weeks ago we had a friendly against Sevilla and we all know how that went down.
Not pleasant.
And sure it was a friendly.
And yes we didnt play all our stars.
But still. Its Sevilla. The team that knocked us out of la Copa so unjustly.
