It wouldn't be a smart move to say this happily married(?) Portuguese pair is the best
bitch-facin' couple we've seen in awhile, because that would denigrate the caliber of cut-eye that
Liverpool's Raul Meireles and his missus are bringing to the bitchface brawl.
We hear that Ivone makes for one bad-ass WAG, so as to not incite anger, we must bow down to the
astonishing level of conjoined, full-on facial fear that's presented itself.
Last night, after his team's bruising defeat to Mexico in the Gold Cup final, goalkeeper Tim
Howard commented (according to Grant Wahl on twitter), that it was "a f ing disgrace that the
entire postmatch ceremony was in Spanish."
He was, to be sure, in a bad place. Howard is a world-class goalie, whose saves have time and
time again literally saved the U.

The United States is scheduled to play an international friendly next week in Egypt against the
host country, and as many of you are well aware, the political situation is unsettled, to put is
lightly. By the February 9 friendly there may not be a government in Egypt, or even a new one,
but the situation is incredibly fluid.

All I ask of you in my hour of need, after the unexpected defeat at the hands of Bolton, as I
sit here distraught and frustrated, even angry at the events of this season, I ask that you address
the faithful the hordes of fans that support and follow this club of ours as soon as is
practical.
Jose Mourinho's paranoia has to be growing after Andres Iniesta escaped a UEFA ban after getting
a 'deliberate' booking for time-wasting.
Iniesta has been cleared of picking up a deliberate yellow card against Shakhtar Donetsk and
will not face any action from UEFA's disciplinary committee, which means he can now play against
Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on April 27.
Over the last couple of years we have written extensively about the power of social media to
connect teams with fans, promote a brand and drive message to the most passionate and interested
potential consumers. Every interview we have conducted with front office representatives has
included a discussion about the use of social media.
The big news of the day is that Ashley Young has left Aston Villa for Manchester United for the
hearty sum of £15-17M. The English winger has signed a five-year deal at Old Trafford in a move
that had been expected over recent days.
What shocked me most about the move of Young, who scored just nine goals in 39 appearances this
past season for Villa, was the lacking of anger and bitterness from Villa fans.
We rightly get angry about foreign fans racially abusing black players, but are English
fans really any better?
The next time the English national team are in action and players are subjected to racist
chants, don't feel indignant yet superior. Don't be consumed by anger and attack the opposing
country's fans as being backward.
A drunk fan decided that the best way to utilize his buzz during the Dutch Cup clash between AZ
and Ajax was to attack AZ's keeper Esteban Alvarado because...well, he was drunk. So the keeper
defended himself, then attacked the intruder with his boots and boiling anger. Understandably.
However, the referee decided he should then send off Alvarado, which then prompted AZ to walk off
the pitch.
The Club that loves to buy attacking players so much, is short on strikers.
Hilarious..I slept with my Real Madrid Jersey on New Year's Eve as part of my wish for
titles this 2011. Today, typing this over my lunch break in my first days back to work from my
Holidays in Manila.
The boys are back after a long three week break encompassing Father Christmas, Flu, Chelsea getting
spanked by Arsenal, throwing it away against Villa, being humiliated at Wolves and then finally
redeeming themselves on Sunday with a 7-0 thumping of Ipswich. Glorious Unpredictability or
what!
As well as discussing the game against Ipswich on Sunday and having a cursory chat about the other
four matches, we also award our Man of the Match; Chant of the Match; Celery and Guinness moments.
I hope everyone's rage has died down a little. Mine was slowly subsiding as I looked ahead to
the West Ham game on the weekend and today's MLS SuperDraft. However, my anger began to bubble up
again after hearing the latest comments from our captain:
"I don't know if it is long ball or it is a rugby kick but it worked for them.
Manchester United drew with Tottenham 0-0 despite been reduced to 10 men in the second half and
return to the top of the EPL.
Brazilian full-back Rafael received his marching orders for a second bookable
offence and then decided to vent his anger at a microphone.

I think Posh said it best in Spice World, "When you know exactly what is supposed to be
happening, would somebody please let me know?"
Beckham today extended his training stint with Tottenham until the end of February, instead of
joining the Galaxy now for pre-season training. Ever inclined to see the bright side, I hope that
Tottenham simply have a very good training program and he wants to be more prepared to play for the
Galaxy.

Sunday afternoon at Stamford Bridge, and a chorus of cheers from the Chelsea crowd greets Steve
Clarke, Liverpool's first team coach. A former Chelsea man, and assistant to Jose Mourinho in those
heady days of Premiership titles and Champions League finals, the reception he received was
befitting of a man who had help to guide Chelsea to the successful period in their history.
There was a very heated arguement last week in the VIP Boxes of the "Emirates Stadium" (London)
between FC BARCELONA President Sandro Rosell & ARSENAL FC Chief Executive Ivan Gazdis before the
Champions League match between both Clubs. The cause of the anger was 16 year old FC BARCELONA
junior midfield player JON MIQUEL TORAL HARPER Jon Toral ARSENAL FC has signed the player for
next season
We all came into this game after a very long week filled with drama and anger and worry that
this Arsenal team would not be able to go through the rest of this season with any sense of hope
for the present or the future. It wasn't a classic performance, but full of great moments of play
and suicidal defending.
The byline for Paul Hayward's article runs 'after a week when Real Madrid and Barcelona beat Europe
9-1 the prospect of four
Clásicos in 18 days enters thrilling view'. Hopefully that'll be
the case, rather than a mass of overhype and overkill.
Artistry and anger vie as Real and Barça stage world series
It's playoff time down in Mexico, so it's not surprising that passions are strong and tempers can
flare, but that doesn't excuse the latest football incident of a player taking his anger out on an
opposing coach. On Sunday May 15, 2011, Morelia beat Cruz Azul 3-0, giving them a 3-2 aggregate in
the Clausura semifinals.
Quiet, isn't it? In years ending in an odd number, the Euro-centric football enthusiast's
calendar suddenly opens out before them like the savannah plains. The 2011 Women's World and the
European Under-21 Championships sit before us like twin oases and the press will continue to feed
the constant thirst with a drip of transfer stories, many of which will come to nothing and many
more of which will not become truth until the last possible moment before a ball is kicked in anger
again.
I think from the outside looking in and I am not being disrespectful in anyway here to him, It
seemed that Carlo Ancelotti lacked the "edge to him" that John Terry speaks about when he talks of
Guus Hiddink.
I think if there is one thing about Ancelotti that most of us agree on it would be the fact that
you never saw him on that touchline when things weren't going our way, shouting at the players,
giving them a kick up the backside to try and get them playing.
The Daily Mail had an interesting article today about Clint Dempsey and his future ambitions.
Dempsey said in the article: "Right now I'm thinking about Europe and playing in the Champions
League. That's a goal. Everyone wants to play at the highest level. If someday I get the
opportunity to play for a big club in the Champions League, that would be great.
"Hate is not the opposite of love; apathy is."- Rollo May
For the first few years of Toronto FC's existence, the club, so desperate for a positive spin,
dined out on the media propelled designation that BMO Field had "
the best fans in the
league". Boisterous, loud and loyal, the supporters were the only thing worth putting on a
billboard to promote a club so bereft of quality on the pitch.
The Dynamo are fired up, they are pissed off, they might even be irked. Whatever they
collectively are, it's time for this team to take all the frustration, anger and any other useful
emotion and channel it on to the field...and when better to start that tomorrow against Chivas
USA.
The winless streak has reached seven matches, we are all where aware of it, but if bringing it
up continues to irk the roster than I view it as a productive topic of discussion.
Seems the Nearpost has upset Mr John Birmingham - who would have thought! He must be having a bad
day. Wonder if he'll get a job in India.

There is a massive divide amongst Arsenal fans as to whether Arsene Wenger should sign Joey Barton
from Newcastle and I have rarely seen an issue cause so much anger on these pages with 88 comments
so far! Well today the ex-Newcastle star Micky Quinn has confirmed that Arsenal have indeed made an
inquiry for [.
Well, I'm not in Germany. I know this because even though the country I'm in (France) has a good
team in the World Cup, and even though that team was on the cover of more than a few of the weekend
papers and Sunday magazines, no one cares that they scored the tournament's first goal in a win
over Nigeria.
Let me start by saying that this isn't going to be a anger filled anti-Fergie tirade like the ones
I have become famous for in the past. Let's just say that I may be in a small minority of fans
who truly are not pleased with what has gone on this off-season with our transfer policies [...]
Well, sort of No, no, no! You're doing it all wrong, Pep! First of all, where is the calf-length
puffa jacket? Secondly, you are supposed to take the lid off. The splashing of the water creates a
more dramatic effect to convey your anger. It also prevents the bottle jumping back up and
launching a [.
Theo Walcott has picked a bad time to bring out his book which criticizes the England manager Fabio
Capello. In it he describes how the atmosphere before last years World Cup was tense and strained,
and how Capello ruined his confidence before even a ball had been kicked in anger. "There was
something very stiff [.
The French midfielder Samir Nasri has confirmed that he is leaving Arsenal very soon to join
Manchester City, but he is not very happy with the way that he was treated by the Gunners fans at
this weekends match against Newcastle. When asked on Facebook about the propsed move to the
Eastlands, Nasri said on [.
After a three year drought, Boca Juniors finally claimed the Argentinian title following last
night's 3-0 win at home to CA Banfield in the Torneo Apertura (Opening Championship). Boca only
needed one point to be sure of the title but sealed the deal with a win in front of their loyal
followers at the Bombonera stadium in Buenos Aires and begin the celebrations with two rounds of
matches still to be played in the first half of the Argentinian season.
Why Chelsea may be a Bridge too far for Cahill
Gary Cahill is set to go to Chelsea in January. But I'm not sure if he will be able to cope at
the highest level in the Champions League and at a top-four team. Just look at
Yakubu's goal for Blackburn against Bolton the other night to see proof of that.
For a few desperate minutes at Anfield on Saturday Roy Hodgson was staring at an inevitable
sacking. A home defeat to Bolton, coming just days after a home reverse against Wolves, would have
lifted supporter anger to insurmountable levels and the club's new American owners surely would
have had little choice but to relieve Hodgson of his duties.
LONDON, England An English footballer was suspended and placed on the transfer list by his club
Wednesday after a Twitter outburst against abusive fans. Aldershot striker Marvin Morgan was also
fined two weeks' wages after he expressed anger at fans booing him when he was substituted during
the fourth tier club's 2-1 loss to [.
On the day the news broke, I was filled with unreasoning anger. If you asked me articulate why I
was so mad, I would have had trouble, which is really not very good going for someone trained to
make well reasoned arguments.
There's been a lot of link spilled on the topic already, whether in support of the Qatar Foundation
deal or in opposition to it.
There's a constant whir in the background. Quiet beeping from some machine near my bed cuts in
rhythmically. Beep-pause-beep- pause-beep. You get used to it, after a time.
Occasionally the sound of muffled voices from the hallway; perhaps the clatter of a distant
bedpan being dropped or kicked or batted about.
As Kenny Dalglish dons the red and white tracksuit once more for his first Anfield training session
since 1991 the feeling of relief among the supporters is palpable. Whether justified or not the
supporters angst and anger towards Roy Hodgson had reached unsustainable levels, meaning his all to
inevitable departure was the only way to [.
On the day that David Beckham finally donned a Spurs shirt, albeit only a training one, the
furore over local ‘rivals' West Ham's suggestion that the whole affair was just a publicity stunt
to help with Spurs bid for the Olympic stadium, was back in the news.
In her column in The Sun over the weekend, Hammers Vice Chairman and Lord Sugar's right hand
lady on The Apprentice Karren Brady had stated: "Call me cynical but I smell a rat in the 'Beckham
for Spurs' reports.
I normally hate capital letters being used to show shouting or a raised tone of voice. That
title isn't so much shouting, more bellowing through a mega-phone.
It's hard to know who is at fault for yesterdays pitiful and frankly disgusting result and
performance, the players certainly. The manager, probably.
