You'll remember that extra kick Thierry Henry gave the ball last week, resulting in Kevin
Hartmann writhing in pain on the ground. The verdict came down and he was not suspended, but rather
fined what for him is a relatively insignificant amount, much to the anger of many in the Dallas
camp (peripheral camp, anyway).
Really it can't get worse.
France 0-1 Belarus in the Stade de France.
I'm not going to talk about tactics or players. My testosterone is balled up in a fit of
anger.
I have been writing a lot for the France WCB lately, but my consistency may cease a little. Not
because of this, but because I am moving to Auxerre, France next week, wish me luck!
Few coaches seem to have divided opinion quite like the Spaniard. Good guy, bad guy; guilty as sin,
innocent victim. He is solely responsible for the miserable fate that befell Liverpool; no, he is
responsible for the club's greatest moments and was slain by the political and economic civil war
at Anfield.
That was the sentiment many expressed when Walcott was injured. I hate internationals
is another common feeling that is shared by football fans across club boundaries. And I totally
relate with anyone who has gone bonkers with the news that Walcott will be out for six weeks or
so.
These are times when the polite ones go ‘WTF!
West Ham United have sparked anger among their fans by taking away privileges from the families of
John Lyall and Ron Greenwood without notice. The late managers are East End royalty, having been
responsible for the only meaningful trophies West Ham have won in their 115-year history.

Manchester United's policy to sign young players accepting that grooming young players made more
economic and long-term sense (and built a team rather than a collection of superstars) has been
used by critics to complain about the club's debts. Never mind that a focused effort on grooming
young players is the hallmark of all 'big' clubs across Europe (including clubs with as diverse
financial issues as Chelsea and Arsenal) and that policy is usually matched with buying experienced
players where needed.

Portland got a kit sponsor | I feel like it should be Horizon Air, because aren't they Alaska's
little brother?
Vancouver announced their coach | This was a Teitur v. Yallop, and one was available. A great
choice for our nothern brethern.
All the Arsenal supporters have directed their anger at Arsene Wenger for not buying a new
goalkeeper this summer, but it seems that Mark Schwarzer is jus as annoyed that he wasn't allowed
to move to the Emirates. He was mysteriously injured during the first few games of the season while
Arsenal were still trying to [.
Frank Lampard will be fit for West Ham on Saturday as per
Carlo Ancelotti, reported
in the Daily Star this morning. Carlo is quoted in response to Lampard's news and the accusations
that he has put club before country by missing out on England on Friday night and Tuesday. He
said:
"For sure, Frank will be fit for the West Ham game.
It's always tempting to react to Sam Allardyce's comments with aggression, anger and vitriol.
However there's simply no point in getting angry, it's far more amusing to actually analyse the
content of this fat walrus' words and systematically show that they are the bitter ravings of a
very sad, paranoid and unpleasant individual.

The specialist knee surgeon that saved Alan Shearer, Michael
Owen and Ruud Van Nistelrooy (amongst others) from early retirements,
Dr Richard Steadman, has revealed that Manchester United midfielder Owen
Hargreaves is now close to making a return to full fitness after spending the best part of
two full seasons on the sidelines.
Some days you cannot help but despair at those who have made it into the luxurious position of
informing the nation of their footballing opinion. So ridiculous is their view that you sit back
and wonder 'is there really no-one better?'
The muppets have been out in force this week. But before we start, let's have a look at Wenger's
views on tackling, just so we know the basis for the cluelessness that follows:
"I must say I love the way the game is played in England.
Now, this isn't going to be a provocative blog but I think some people, namely the names I named
above, are missing the point.
It might be misinformation, if which is the case I will only be too happy to apologise, but I
think its about time something is said.
Arsene Wenger in his press conference before the Sporting Braga game:
"I don't know if my views are taken seriously.
Vincent Jackson of the San Diego Chargers wants to be traded. He hasn't been able to agree to a
new contract with the Chargers and wants to move on. One problem: San Diego is turning down offers
because they want to get what they believe is fair value.
With the Chargers turning down deals left and right, Jackson's agents are angry.
Could this week get any worse? We have hit the "push a puppy out of the way" stage of cranky
already and certainly didn't need to see the cover of In Touch magazine's David Beckham + Hooker =

So, in the name of our delicate constitutions, how about we just make a few key points about how
this story is being reported, and then if it's alright, we'll head back to checking if our local
chocolate factory has agreed to let us take up employment?
A professional goalkeeper has aroused the anger of his neighbours by displaying an artwork
featuring a blow-up sex doll in his garden.
Last summer, Manchester City thought it would be a good idea to put a poster of summer signing
Carlos Tevez up in town, with the words 'Welcome to Manchester'. City fans thought it was
hilarious, whilst Tevez was embarrassed by it.
"I never understood the intention of that poster," he said.

This picture is not chosen for the Seattle celebration - there are better pictures of their goal
celebration in the AP file, much better actually.
You might think of David Beckham as a harmless celebrity/salesman/footballer who loves all his
fans. But you do not want to cross this man. Especially not with comments about his personal life.
The above video was taken after Beckham's LA Galaxy lost 2-0 at home to New York Red Bulls this
past Friday.
The goal against really bugged me and I will touch on that shortly, but if you have not seen the
match and missed Robinho's sitter in the 29th minute then you don't understand anger! Back to the
goal for a moment, it was a well worked goal by Ajax, with Suarez being the danger man as expected,
but a positional breakdown and lack of cover out of Milan was the most alarming.
The NFL is investigating a confrontation between Nick Collins of the Green Bay Packers and a
Chicago Bears fan. After Monday night's game in which the Bears beat the Packers, video shows
Collins shouting at the Bears fan. He then had to be held back by teammates from going after the
fan.
Why did Collins get mad?
