Manchester United were in action at the Liberty Stadium yesterday and for the third league game on
the spin it finished up one-nil to the champions. Javier Hernandez grabbed another poachers goal
just ten minutes into the game with help from Ryan Giggs and a howler of a mistake by Angel Rangel,
who gifted United's midfield veteran possession on the edge of the Swansea penalty area.
Swansea should have grabbed at least a draw against Champions Manchester United yesterday
evening, first Angel Rangel gifted Ryan Giggs the ball to set up Javier Hernandez for the only goal
of the game and then Scott Sinclair made a howler when letting the ball through his legs when in
front of an empty net.

They may have made a total hash of their recent Copa America appearance, going out in the
quarter-finals, but Argentina look to be getting back on track for their World Cup qualifying
campaign.
The star-studded side played their first match of the campaign at the weekend, and demolished an
attacking Chile side who were caught out on the break time and time again.

official game and won an important 4-1 game vs. Chile in the
World Cup Qualifications. After a great hatrick in the La Liga, Higuain scored a classy hatrick

What a fine, upstanding young man Kevin Davies is. Following the injury to Manchester United's

This Swan's for you Swansea goalkeeper Michel Vorm picked a terrible time for a game of dodgeball
with team-mate Angel Rangel with today's match against Arsenal. Vorm won the dodgeball game, but
the Swans lost the match as Andrey Arshavin capitalised on his clanger to give the Gooners a 1-0

Argentina disposed of Nigeria 3-1 in Bangladesh on Tuesday. Among the highlights was a certain

After falling behind in the tenth minute, goals from Sergio Ramos and Karim Benzema saw Real
Madrid come from behind to beat Galatasaray 2-1 on their own patch to win the Santiago Bernabeu
Trophy last night though the 'goal' of the night belonged to Angel Di Maria, who saw his 25-yard,
postage stamp-seeking missile ruled out for offside.

But Chivas USA ended the day the way they started it - one point out of a playoff place.

effective, or the club probably won't survive the playoffs. Angel wasn't much of a force for the
Galaxy at all.

Looking a bit 'LA Galaxy', here we have a couple of photos of Chelsea's brand spanking new third
strip for 2011/12 that, as you can clearly see from the shot below, Lamps was overjoyed at being
roped in to model.
If, like us, you thought the collar was some kind of velvety denim at first glance, fear yet not
for it too is made of recycled plastic bottles and angel's tears like the rest of the kit.
A seven-year-old called Leo Angel Coira, has allegedly been signed by Real
Madrid if reports on an Argentinian Sports Daily called Ole are to be believed.

Real Madrid have signed a seven-year old Argentine star named Leo. Yes, you did
read that right he was born in 2004! The young star is seen above holding a copy of a signing
letter from Real Madrid.
Leonel Angel Coira was reported by Argentinian sports daily Ole to be Real
Madrid's youngest ever signing, although the club denied this.

Largely due to the fact that he's probably tatered, Lionel Messi's performances at the Copa
America have been a little off-colour so far, with pint-sized mopey tantrums here and free-kicks
hoofed into the ionosphere there.
However, Messi finally pulled his finger out and got his act together in time for Argentina's
comfortable 3-0 win over Costa Rica (who, in fairness, fielded a 'developmental' U23 side) last
night playing a part in almost every wave of attack and providing two assists as Sergio Aguero (2)
and Angel Di Maria netted for the Albiceleste.
