Liverpool go into the half time break the happier of the two teams with a one nil lead, tho in
reality it could have easily been two or three.
Jordan Henderson had his best half of football so far scoring his first goal for the club in the
15th minute, with a left foot shot into the top corner.
The press continue to link Liverpool with more signings even after the capture of Jose Enrique
from Newcastle.
Various reports are circulating that we are preparing to bid £12mill + David Ngog for Bolton's
Gary Cahill. Who is believed to be avaliable if the "Right offer comes in".

Liverpool head into the new season in good heart after the return of club legend Kenny Dalglish
to the Anfield dugout. The Red's kick-off the new season by hosting Sunderland at Anfield on
Saturday afternoon.
Strengthened
The Reds will be clear favorites to defeat the Mackems but Steve Bruce's side have heavily
strengthened this summer.
Liverpool have finally signed Jose Enrique from Newcastle for a reported £6mill after months of
ongoing speculation. Fans are hopeful they have now found a player who is fit to fill the
troublesome left back position which no one has made their own since John Arne Riise was sold to
Roma at the end of the 07/08 season.
There is a massive wave of optimism at Liverpool Football Club since the return of Kenny
Dalglish as manager. It's almost as if King Kenny has returned the pride back into the club. When
he took over from Roy Hodgson the club were a in a complete mess.
He managed to transform the team and help the club from relegation zone to European berth
challengers.
It is no secret that we are in the market for an established left back. Kenny tried out a whole
bunch of lads in the position in the latter half of the 10/11 season, with Paul Konchesky, Fabio
Aurelio, Jack Robinson, Danny Wilson and Glen Johnson all being tested out.
