Bullocks. I'm not saying it wouldn't be nice to have him, but first off, he primarily plays central
midfield and we're kind of loaded in that department. He is versatile enough to play the wings as
well, but unless he's going to be content sharing time there, he won't approve the transfer.
By 1970's Gooner There are a lot of press columns (and blog postings) written about this intriguing
encounter at Anfield where the League's two remaining unbeaten teams lock horns. There are also a
lot of comparisons being drawn between the two sets of players and the respective styles of
football. There is one attribute however that Arsenal have got in abundance which Liverpool seem to
lack.
Yes, the team that pioneered that pass and move concept. The team that conquered all by out passing
most other opponents. Yes, its a sham to see the new Liverpool.
I thought perhaps the last game against EPL game was a blip. Their passing there was average and
lackluster. I expected a much better performance from Liverpool against Marseille.
Player of the month
This one is tough. Benayoun has made a strong case with the last two matches. His strike against
Reading was crucial as it kick started the goal-scoring machine, not to mention it was a beaut.
Obviously his cheeky score against Wigan was important as well. If it weren't for the Porto fiasco,
Mascherano would be walking away with it and Riise has had his moments, but I think it has to go to
Torres.

Spurs were unlucky to leave Anfield with just a point. The game with Liverpool was an extremely
entertaining, end to end encounter packed with goals and incidents. Liverpool started the game
better, and Voronin put Liverpool ahead as he was the quickest to react from Robinson blunder. A
Gerrard freekick was deflected off the Spurs wall and Robinson reacted well to get to the ball, but
couldn't hand on to it and gifted the ball straight to an alert Voronin.
