Since the transfer window came into force during the 2002-03 season, Spurs have been one of the
most active clubs in terms of players arriving at and leaving White Hart Lane.
After a fairly quiet window by their standards – signing trio Yago Falque, Louis Saha and Ryan
Nelsen all on free transfers, let's take a look at seven players signed for big money during the
January period.
Having won just one of their last eight league and cup games, Leicester proceeded to put four past
Forest last night. James Bolton reports. There were four changes for Forest's trip to the King
Power Stadium for the FA Cup 3rd Round Replay against Leicester. George Boateng, Paul Anderson,
Robbie Findley and Andy Reid came [.
Its been a long year for the OTWT Tailgating crew. There have been trips to Buffalo to see the
Eagles, to Harrisburg for a minor league baseball game and to Washington DC to see Manchester
United. Here are some of my favorite videos from our 25 events that we attended.

Another dominating performance, another defeat. Guest writer James Bolton reports from the City
Ground. Following a great performance against Brighton last weekend, Steve Cotterill named an
unchanged XI for the visit of Crystal Palace. Having served a one match ban, Andy Reid was on the
substitute bench and was joined again by Dexter Blackstock [.

Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez showed more signs of forging a potent strike partnership as Liverpool
strolled to victory over West Brom - and former Reds manager Roy Hodgson - at the Hawthorns.
A Charlie Adam penalty and Carroll's third goal of the campaign confirmed Liverpool's superiority
as they climbed into fifth spot in the Barclays Premier League.
Late Thursday, the Philadelphia Union announced that SportsRadio 610 WIP would broadcast 17 of
the team's 2012 matches live on the radio. Those of you who read the match previews will note that
this is something PSP has been pushing for as strongly as passive aggression allows.
The details are not all in, but here is what we know:
- 17 games will be broadcast on WIP
- They may be home games, they may be away games.
As my brain slowly recovers from an alcoholic fug it's quite difficult to imagine how a game
against Derby could start any better. It's customary in City Ground matches against them these days
to have a good start for us but could it really be any better than their goalkeeper getting sent
off whilst conceding a penalty.
Sometimes in football it's no contradiction To say that fact is stranger than fiction, For no
author could have ever prophesised The summer's events down on Trentside. No wonder they call it
silly season As events unfold without rhyme nor reason [...]
Looking at the positive side of Forest at the minute is a bit like looking into a Crystal Ball.
There is the potential for some good signings with Giles Barnes, Wayne Routledge, Nicky Maynard,
Nicky Shorey and Bolo Zendon all coming out of the rumour mill [...]
Mistake or P*sstake? Now bear with us. A video helping you get as fit as Owen Hargreaves might seem
like a spoof, akin to 'Eat yourself thin with Andy Reid' or 'Watch television for intelligence with
the Geordie Shore girls', but this one isn't made up. Owen Hargreaves, presumably fresh after 32
years on the [.
It's always exciting when we make a signing, and the return of Andy Reid to Forest is a great coup
I think. Those people making jibes about his fluctuating weight overlook his undoubted talent on
the ball, delivery and passing ability not to mention the fact that he appears to be in good shape
too [.

Nowak Adds EVP Of Soccer Operations To Title, Becomes Union's Andy Reid
"Peter's new title better reflects his broader responsibilities overseeing our entire soccer
operation," said Sakiewicz. Andy Reid, anyone?
To take Spurs forward for the rest of the season and beyond will require, amongst other things,
great leadership on the pitch. With our club captain Ledley King missing for so long and his
previous deputy now playing at West Ham, the armband has regularly been worn by his centre-half
partner Michael Dawson.

Nottingham-born Darren Huckerby took ten years to finally arrive at the City Ground, but on his
loan spell in 2003 he helped Forest reach that season's play-offs. Sadly for the Reds he signed for
Norwich the following season and became a Carrow Road ‘Hall of Fame' member. He has now set-up a
charity organisation in the area.
