Win one, lose one, win one, lose one. That's the Palermo way at the moment. The Aquile are
consistently inconsistent: they've alternated between wins and losses in each of their last six
games and haven't strung two wins together all season. They're hopeless on the road and have failed
to score a single goal, but they've been unbeatable at home with six wins from six.

2009 winner Ryan Giggs. Talent, looks, money AND personality no wonder he's a hit with the
ladies.
The Manchester Evening News demonstrated a rather fine example of parochialism in choosing its
shortlist for the 2011 BBC Sports Personality awards.

Andy Murray with a few words on Team of the Week AC Milan at Serie A Weekly The Rossoneri are back.
Sunday's 4-0 victory over Catania puts Milan third in the table and just a single point away from
leaders Udinese. They've won 5 from 5, scoring 18 goals in the process, and have been reinstated as
the bookies' favourites to win this year's Scudetto.

Glendenning on Twitter Good news: for any of you who may have been concerned by murmurings from the
ATP Tour that Andy Murray, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Andy Roddick may be about to lead a
players' revolt and set up picket lines around tennis courts around the globe.

Unlike the rest of the world, my calendar doesn't run from January to December: it starts
in August and ends in May.
The last game of the season is like Christmas day: the party you've all been building up to.
The Champions League final and the Play Offs are that little bit of extra excitement: like New
Years Eve.

Dave Kidd (for the second time in recent weeks, worryingly enough the first was his suspicions
over the now disappeared "Fulham Daisy") recently tweeted about Seve Ballesteros (funny how it used
to be "baLL" and now we're all sophisticated it's "baY"; I remember either Barry Davies or Martin
Tyler called Soren LerbY "Soren LerbU" in some tournament or other and it just sounded
wrong.
triunfo espetacular e retumbante.
The FA's decision to ban Wayne Rooney was so ludicrous that even the press are on his side!
The Independent: Saturday was about one man letting rip against his persecutors. Punishing him
for it, as Rooney may well agree, is a load of bollocks.
The Guardian: Really it is Sky who should be being reprimanded here, for employing a guy with a
hand-held camera to run up to players at key moments and poke it in their faces, and the football
authorities, for allowing them to do so.
As the Federer reign ends, so does too some of the romantic side of tennis. Expect television
ratings for tennis to come down over the next few years. Nadal will carry the sport for a while
longer, but many of the story lines will turn stale and be a repeat from previous years.
Its hard to imagine the characters in tennis getting any better.
The Fort Lauderdale Strikers continue to make noise in our community this time with a successful
charity event where a large crowd helped raise money for the Red Cross relief efforts in Japan.
Stars of the ATP Tour in Miami to play the Sony Ericsson
Open joined with the NASL's Fort Lauderdale Strikers to help raise funds and awareness for Japanese
relief.
Serbian Novak Djokovic proved to hot to handle in his Second Australian Open
Final against Scotland's Andy Murray in Melbourne.
Djokovic claimed his second Australian Open Title to add to his 2008 Title beating Murray 6-4,
6-2, 6-3.
Scotland's Andy Murray is into his third Grand Slam Final after beating David
Ferrer 4-6, 7-6, 6-1, 7-6 in the Semi-Finals of the Australian Open.
Murray will meet Novak Djokovic who beat Roger Fedeer in the other Semi-Final yesterday, Murray
will be hoping he can win his first Grand Slam on Sunday having tasted defeat in the Final last
year to Roger Federer.
Third seed Novak Djokovic strolled into his second Australian Open Final
beating defending Champion Roger Federer 3-0 in the Semi-Finals this morning.
Djokovic played a near perfect game to close out the match 7-6, 7-5, 6-4. He will now meet
either fifth seed Andy Murray or seventh seed David Ferrer who sent Rafael Nadal packing in the
Quarter-Finals.
World Number One Rafael Nadal crashed out of the Australian Open three sets to
nil, to his Spanish compatriot David Ferrer.
Things looked omnious for Nadal as he left the court for a lenghty Medical break after only the
third game in the first set.
However take nothing away from Ferrer injury or no injury he deserved his 6-4, 6-2, 6-3 win over
Nadal and will meet Andy Murray in the Semi-Finals.
