Jordan Rhodes has certainly got the Premier League's attention. As many as eight top flight
clubs were represented at Huddersfield Town's game against Wycombe Wanderers last week. And they
are likely to have been impressed – the striker bagged five goals in a remarkable display.
Another Ba-rgain buy? Newcastle obviously think they've hit on a successful transfer formula, so
they're sticking to it. They've brought another Senegal international striker called Demba with a
history of playing in the Bundesliga. Papiss Demba Cisse has signed from Freiburg in a
five-and-a-half-year deal, for an undisclosed fee thought to be in the region [.
Ahead of this weekend's FA Cup game against Liverpool, Andy Cole has reflected on his time
playing for United at Anfield.
Cole scored at Anfield in our 3-1 win in the 1996-1997 season, scored two there the following
season, and again in 1999.
"When I was in the team I used to love playing at Anfield," he told the official
site.
