Rumours reached the internet early this evening of a bust-up between Newcastle team-mates Andy
Carroll and Steven Taylor. The altercation is thought to have happened at United's training ground.
It's alleged that Andy Carroll has been treated for a hand injury at the RVI hospital. The injury
is apparently due to a punch thrown at [.
Transfer window gossip fodder Every time the transfer window opens a nasty draught of rumours and
sagas creeps in. If you follow the these closely you inevitably see the same names recurring over
and over again. Here are 10 players we think will feature prominently in the gossip columns in
January. 1.
Toon pair's homelife gets more crazy by the minute Just this time last week we revealed that Andy
Carroll was supposed to be reading bedtime stories to Kevin Nolan's kids following Newcastle's 5-1
victory over Sunderland. Instead (alleges the News of the World) he opted to take two 20-year-old
women to one of Nolans bedrooms [.
Ian Holloway must be punished. Of that, there's no doubt. The Blackpool boss made ten changes in
Wednesday's 3-2 defeat against Aston Villa. Six of the starting 11 had not started a game this
season, two were starting their second games, and in total the 11 had 12 starts between them.
There are numerous parallels between this and the side put out by Wolves' manager Mick McCarthy
against Manchester United last season a move, lest we forget, that resulted in the club receiving a
suspended fine from the Premier League, after they deemed it to contravene their rule demanding
managers always field their strongest side.
Overall Outlook - Welcome back from exile to a team that, on talent, we could never figure out how
they ended up in the Championship in the first place. I guess they took dysfunctional to an
entirely new level. Hopefully for their sakes, they're ready to reverse some of the sins of their
recent past and come back stronger (and perhaps more realistic) for their exile.
Maybe Kuyt should just leave this kind of thing to the experts. International break always brings
with it injuries, real or imagined, that fantasy managers have to take into consideration for the
next game week. Some are big news, others are a bit more obscure. This time, there is the added
fun of the transfer window having just closed so there's also news about new players and their
The inevitable speculation has started already surrounding the future of Newcastle defender Steven
Taylor and his desire to stay at the club. The claims made by The Guardian and The Mirror are that
24 year old Taylor has been left disillusioned over the apparent defence and acceptance of Andy
Carroll, with one paper claiming there [.
Weird week for young Andy Carroll. The big 21 year old Newcastle striker allegedly broke
teammate Steven Taylor's jaw just over a weekend ago (something Taylor is understandably unhappy
about) yet somehow this Sunday he's being talked about as a potential England player.
OK, it was only in the News of the World, but it's still technically news, but the Sunday
red-top is still technically a newspaper.

Not bad, this lot. 1. Joe Cole (Liverpool) This is Joe's season to shine on Merseyside. Much was
made over which team would land his childish scribble over the summer, and after much deliberation
(they met his pay demands) Liverpool won out. He was supposed to be England's saviour during that
tournament they attended over the summer, [.
With the Transfer Window coming to a close in less than a week, Premier League teams may look a bit
different next week than they do this week. We spoke about the Fantasy Premier League "Wildcard" on

It looks like Andy Carroll is hitting the headlines for the wrong reasons yet again, if the News of
the World is to be believed. The "newspaper" claims that Andy Carroll and Kevin Nolan went on a
14-hour drinking binge after the 5-1 defeat of Sunderland last weekend, but it doesn't end there.
Under the headline [.
Well here it is, the third and final chapter of my mid-term player review. And a topical area for
discussion, as speculation remains over a move for Leeds Utd's Jermaine Beckford, or A.N. Other
should we fail in that bid. The No.9 shirt is almost as synonymous with Newcastle United, as St

Newcastle's Andy Carroll demonstrated his no-nonsense approach and was a handful all night for his
opponents, who suffered from the striker's ability in the air. With flailing elbows and brute
force, the opposition was left nursing their wounds as Carroll strolled off triumphantly. With an
early brace to his name and having picked up the MOTM [.

Newcastle go looking for their second 'double' of the season on Wednesday, to go along with the
victories home and away against Crystal Palace, against a Coventry side unbeaten in five games and
offering something of a resurgence since we beat them at the Ricoh Arena. And while our home form
looks good, we've suffered a [.

Best tache goes to... Joey Barton, who currently looks like a WWII fighter
pilot. Andy Carroll's facial furniture is a f*cking disgrace, frankly.
In other news, I would love it, just love it, if Newcastle don't win a game until 2011.
We're back with our second installment of our Funny Feeling Friday series and this week we are
going to choose another underrated, out of form, or unpopular (in fantasy terms) player that we
think may turn his fortunes around on ... Continue reading →
Newcastle United 6 0 Aston Villa
A hat-trick from Andy Carroll (S), two goals from Kevin Nolan
(AM) and another from Joey Barton (CM) see fit to remove the mustache
from the latter's face. Barton saw fit to challenge his side to obtain a first win of the season,
by putting a hideous mustache on the line.
Posted by Sport.co.uk on: 26 August 2010 10:51 Author: Michael Weightmann There's a new name being
sung on the terraces of St James' Park, a new number 9 ready to usher the club into a new era. If
Sunday's performance and hat trick against Aston Villa are anything to go by, the Newcastle United
fans have [.
There have been a few bits of news throughout the week regarding the fitness Andy Carroll, or lack
of it depending on which way you look at it. The Gateshead lad apparently hasn't trained all week
but should be fit to face Blackpool at the weekend. Carroll was struggling with an ankle injury
before the Wolves game.
If BBC can do it, then so we can we....
5. Andy Carroll
In all honesty I thought Carroll would be out of his depth in the Premier League, but 4 goals in
three games proves otherwise. Time will tell if this is some early fluke or the sign of promise for
Newcastle and England.
Let's be honest here, most football transfer rumours originate in the minds of gawky journos who
desperately make up this rubbish to stop them having to write another feature on how bloody good
Paul Scholes is. Case in point of this rubbish – Andy Carroll to Tottenham?! Christ, what next,
Tony Hibbert to Barcelona?
It looks like Andy Carroll and trouble have found themselves thrust together again. Hot on the
heels of the weekend escapades that resulted in Carroll having to face court on Monday morning
comes another spot of bother for the Gatsehead lad. It appears that Carroll's new chrome-plated,
all singning, all blinging, Range Rover has been torched whilst [.
Avram Grant must love a challenge. Last year he took on the impossible task of trying to keep a
debt-ridden Portsmouth in the Premier League, and this term he has turned his attentions to
ensuring West Ham don't also suffer the embarrassment of relegation.
While it has not exactly been the start that the former Chelsea boss would have hoped for with
the Hammers currently sitting bottom of the league, they are currently on a four game unbeaten run
in the Premier League.
In light of Wayne Rooney's new £50M deal with Manchester United, we here at
JBM were rather disgusted by the resultant increase in pay for a player currently yet to
score a goal from open play this season no, a completed spot-kick is not a goal from open play. But
that tract of thought brought about a few other questions about players' performances and their
respective values.
Captain Kev is strict parent to Carroll When Newcastle striker Andy Carroll's bail conditions
forced him to move into the family home of Kevin Nolan, it sparked much hilarity. Many people were
envisaging some sort of Bert and Ernie set-up for the Toon pair. The truth, it turns out, is
equally bizarre.
Newcastle's triumphant return to the Premier League was underlined on Sunday with a 5-1 thumping
of rivals Sunderland. Back to work yesterday, Hughton still wasn't summoned to the board room to
put pen to paper on a new contract, and the reason is that Mike Ashley and Derek Llambias have
decided to use the relegation and subsequent return to the Premier League as means of finding a new
way to run the club.
I'll keep this brief as I don't want it take the gloss of the fantastic win at Arsenal, but I also
feel that it is important enough to cover in an article. There was a newspaper report this morning
that alleged that two Newcastle players, namely Kevin Nolan and Andy Carroll, had been behaving
badly. Now most [.
Another great weekend in the Premier League, with shocks left right and center. Who would have
thought Man United would have scored in the 94 minute to clinch another late victory?
With Liverpool winning yet again, Spurs failing to win after Champions League week, &
Flapinanski dropping another blooper.
I am worried for my team. Chelsea were ripped to pieces as Sunderland produced the performance
of their season, and credit must go to the Black Cats because they were irresistible. But how do
you defend a title with no defence?
While Branislav Ivanovic is a rampaging thoroughbred of a full-back, he is far nervier and
uncertain, almost clumsy, when moved to the centre.
Is he? Or isn't he? I have not written for quite a while on this 'blog, so this post is just a
gentle reintroduction from me without much substance, but I feel I can get away with it just this
once to ease myself back into things. It gets worse because I'm about to do some dreaded [...]
John Anderson probably summed it up nicely towards the end of his Radio Newcastle commentary, that
both managers would have been happy with a draw before this game. But as the referee blew the final
whistle with the score at 0-0, it will surely be Plymouth boss Paul Mariner who will be happier
than his [.

Good words today coming from two of our players, Andy Carrol and Kevin Nolan, with both of them
saying the best thing to get over a defeat is another game, and that comes in the shape of
Newcastle United's home encounter with Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening. Both lads are
understandably annoyed with being eliminated from [.
The scoreline doesn't even begin to tell the story, on a day when Newcastle United were outplayed
and outfought by a Swansea City side, more determined and far more capable than their black and
white counterparts. And how we manged to nick a point at the death will remain a mystery to those
who sat [.
After last night scintillating 4-1 win over Coventry City, it's only natural that we are going to
hear a few snippets from the players, especially given the pressure the lads were under to get a
result last night after a sequence of less than impressive performances over the last few weeks,
Cardiff aside of course.
