Roman Pavlyuchenko is enduring a torrid time at White Hart Lane. The Spurs
frontman can't get into the team and boss Harry Redknapp seems hesitant to sell him until the
summer despite interest from Russia. It seems certain he will go down as a ‘flop' in England, but
he is by no means the worst of the bunch.
Chelsea have made approximately 50 signings since the take-over of Roman Abramovich. About £470
million (and William Gallas) has been spent on these players – that averages out at just over £9
million (and one of Gallas' hands) per player.
In this time Chelsea have had some really disappointing players, especially when you consider
how much have been spent on some of these players.

Compiling a list of the best 10 signings in this time is not a simple task and there will, no
doubt, be objections.
Try as he might, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has a long way to go before he can even come
close to carrying the bags of Silvio Berlusconi.
AC Milan's owner and president has been at the forefront of European and Italian club soccer for
more than two decades, winning 5 European Cups during that period.
The adidas 2010/11 home kit of FIFA World Cup 2006 Quarter-Finalists Ukraine has officially been
launched. While Andriy Shevchenko and company just missed qualifying for this year's tournament in
South Africa, they will be co-hosting Euro 2012 with Poland. Expect to see their new kit in action
when the Zhovto-Blakytni (Yellow Blues) start their 2010 friendly [.

To celebrate the launch of Mazda's thrillseekers campaign coinciding with the action in the Fifa

10. We all know England have suffered more than their share of penalty shootout anguish over the
years, but Stuart Pearce redressed his and the nation's spot-kick balance in the Euro 1996 victory

If we're to go on recent times, the current title-holder as football's Yoko Ono must be one
Kristen Pazik, the wife of Andriy Shevchenko who torpedoed the man's career with one seemingly
innocuous request: 'let's go to England, honey'.
But no one in the football world currently holds more Yoko potential than Spain's very own Sara
Carbonero, whose dual employment as media personality and jewel of Iker Casillas' eye creates
something of a slightly worrying overlap.
Depois de confirmar na última sexta-feira as oito cidades sedes da Eurocopa de 2012, o presidente
da Uefa, Michel Platini, apresentou nesta segunda-feira a logomarca da competição mais importante
do continente europeu. A marca do torneio, que será realizado na Ucrânia e Polônia, é composta
por três flores, com a central tendo o formato de uma bola e as laterais possuindo as cores dos
dois países.
With the decade wrapping up, I thought it'd be a good idea to review every season of the decade
thus far, starting with the 1999-2000. The review will highlight Serie A of course, but also
Italian teams in European competition, and National team stories from that season. So we begin with
the 1999-2000 season, the dawn of the new millennium.
The Decade in Review continues with the 2006/2007 season. The 2006/2007 season was the beginning
of a new era for Italian football. It was the first post-Calciopoli season, and it was the first
Serie A season without Juventus. A reinforced Inter side dominated the championship, finishing 22
points ahead of second place Roma and winning their first scudetto on the pitch since 1989.
A voice cries out in the wilderness but no one hears it. An extinct species flourishes on the
frozen ground, making the barren land his own but no one notices.
As Lionel Messi glided across the plains of the Camp Nou, omnipotent in his ability, making
hyperbole the norm, another dynamic little man forged his spot in a sport where there wasn't a spot

The clock ticks mercilessly forward towards one of the most unusual UEFA Champion's League
finals in recent memory. Time is running thin and the pressure is on both Bayern Munich and
Internazionale to do their fans proud, and yet Inter's Jose Mourinho is really not the picture of
optimism and glee.
Jose Mourinho is the best football coach on the planet.
Inter Milan's Serie A championship is his sixth league title as a manager. He will have finished
top of the table in every full season he has led a club — bar the 2006-07 Chelsea campaign in
which Roman Abramovich forced Andriy Shevchenko upon him while refusing to sign a badly needed
centre-back.
Here is a look back at the last 10 Champions League finals and a short recollection on how they
ended.

The Estadio Santiago Bernabéu plays host to the 2009-10 UEFA Champions League final
The UEFA Champions League final will be played on a Saturday night for the first time in the
competition's history this year when Internazionale FC and FC Bayern München fight it out not just
for continental glory but to complete the third and final leg of a Treble winning season.
As yet another talismanic player gets ready to pack his bags and bid farewell to North London,
the rumour mill is working overtime as Arsenal are linked with every discontented player in world
football. Yaya Toure, Per Mertesacker, Zlatan Ibrahohimivic and Gianluigi Buffon (amongst many,
many more) have all been linked with a move to the Emirates in the past few weeks.
Jose Mourinho has enjoyed what is arguably his most successful year in managerial football with
a treble in the Serie A. Inter Milan enjoyed an unprecedented rout of silverware under the keen eye
of ‘the special one', who will now head west, to the city of Madrid, to hopefully enjoy a similar
success that the Spanish giants have not encountered for too many years, seemingly playing in the
shadow of the Catalonian supreme.

Luis Fabiano's agent claims that the Brazilian striker is only prepared to leave current club
Sevilla for AC Milan in Serie A.
The Rossoneri reportedly made an offer for Fabiano last July with the forward
apparently very keen to move from Spain to Italy.

Sheva was past tense out of respect always a sly man with a net in the equation, and it appears
his predatory skills also translate to giant wallets hanging out the back pocket of Ukrainian
television presenters with a popped collar (possibly a large demographic).
How to make sure you get a fair wage for post-match interviews Apologies if you have already seen
this while we were on holiday, but it is too good not to post. Ex-Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko
seems to be getting a bit flirty with the bloke interviewing him. At the end of the interview it
turns out [.
For most Chelsea fans, the name "Riccy" brings to mind nimble feet, the ability to
bring the ball out of defence with poise, an almost vulpine cunning, and the occasional image of
Senor Martin in bed with another man.
When Ricardo Alberto Silveira de Carvalho signed from Porto in 2004, or as everyone else puts
it, was delivered From Russia, with Love, many were unsure of how this man would do in the Premier
League.
This morning, Stamford the Lion announced on Twitter that Chelsea's latest signing, Brazilian
midfielder Ramires, will be wearing the coveted No. 7 shirt. Wonderful news.
Ramires will be following a long, long line of legends to wear the 7. Here is a sampling.
MANICHE.
Brazilian midfielder Ramires only joined Chelsea from Benfica earlier this month but according
to his compatriot Alex, the youngster has already made quite an impression during the club's
training sessions.
Such has been his work ethic that he has already earned a comparison with the Blues' midfield
maestro Michael Essien, who is inarguably one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
The adidas 2010/12 away kit of FIFA World Cup 2006 Quarter-Finalists Ukraine has officially been

Luiz Adriano gave Shakhtar the lead in their 2-0 victory over Dynamo Kyiv
Following the sacking of Dynamo Kyiv coach Valeri Gazzaev last week the Ukrainian capital club
faced a difficult task on Sunday in trying to recapture the league leadership from arch-rivals
Shakhtar Donetsk. Both clubs have dominated Ukrainian football since the second championship of an
independent football league in 1992-93 and this season looks like both teams will be the likely
contenders for the title yet again.
Kevin Davies has been working tirelessly all his career to earn an international call-up that
has been unanimously appreciated. The man himself was astonished to finally break into an England
set-up that never saw enough to give him his much-awaited break.
But such is the nature of a forward's role in modern day football.
Here are a couple of videos showing the history of FIFA Games.
[Note: The first video does not contain FIFA 2001 & FIFA 2002. Please refer to the second video
for the same. EURO 2000, EURO 2004, FIFA 10, FIFA World Cup 2010 and FIFA 11 are unfortunately not
included at all.]
The games I have personally played the most are:-
* FIFA World Cup 98
* FIFA 2000
* FIFA 2004
* FIFA 2005
* FIFA 06
* EURO 2008
* FIFA 09
* FIFA 10
FIFA World Cup 98 was my first FIFA game.
To start off, yes he is. Now, let me show you exactly why:
Lionel Messi has scored more goals than any other player in the top five European leagues over
the last 12 months 31 in La Liga and 9 in the UEFA Champions League. This season so far, he has
scored twice in the three league games as well as a Champions League brace against
Panathinaikos.
Controversial as it may sound, I just could not help but share my thoughts. Some might agree and
some might not, but it's all up to your own judgements. As we all know, from this year onwards, the
FIFA World Player of The Year and the highly prestigious Ballon d'Or will be combined and
rechristened the new FIFA Ballon d'Or award.
World Soccer magazine has announced its World Player of the Year for 2010, one of many which
will do so, and while that in and of itself may not be tremendously significant, its recent history
tells us it may be a hint of what's to unfold with the big trophy coming up shortly.
