Yossi opens his accounts for Arsenal
This was Arsenal's first defeat in this season's Champions League and it had we not qualified
prior, it would be shambolic rather than comical. Olympiacos must have thought we'd done them a
favour but they could rightly be disappointed to miss out on the next stage.

Could the Spaniard be given less defensive duty?
As is customary during this period of the season, games come thick and fast. Tonight sees us
visiting Villa Park and this is the first of 4 games in 13 days. Yet, we cannot afford to rest on
our laurels. This is as big a test as the Manchester City game.

It was a good night for Arsenal last night, even though none of the games involved us.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City all dropped points in their Boxing Day fixtures. A win for
us tonight will see us leapfrog over Chelsea and go level on points with Tottenham (depending on
the outcomes of their own match against Norwich).
