Three transfers occur this week around MLS. Here is the weekly info on the latest transfers....
1. Andre Hainault(Sparta Prague) to Houston Dynamo
Pros: This transfer will add a good strong European like physique to the depth of the Houston
Dynamo's defence.
Major League Soccer has fined Colorado Rapids captain Pablo Mastroeni $1,250 and suspended him
two games for endangering the safety of Houston Dynamo defender Andrew Hainault on Sunday.
The incident occurred in the 63rd minute of the Rapids' 1-0 victory at Dick's Sporting Goods
Park. Watch it here.
This comes courtesy of our good friends at DynamoPlanet.com:
A player signing will be announced tomorrow at 2PM. Now, everyone has been left to guess who it is
at the moment, but my spidey senses have a hypothesis: Andrew Hainault, a 6' 1" defender and a
member of the Canadian U-23 National Team.
This match promises to be a dogfight. The season series between the Los Angeles Galaxy and the
Houston Dynamo featured exactly one goal and a lot of physical defending. If that sounds a lot like
what Chivas and the Galaxy went through for the bulk of their five games this season, its not
coincidence.
