After the debuts of Andres Mendoza (CLB) and Ruben Luna (DAL), we're now only 8 players away from reaching 1,500 all time for MLS teams. Geovanni and Sal Zizzo were the previous two.
Eight more to go! This includes all competitions, and only those who've actually got into a game in a competitive match.

And that word is: Juninho.

For the past couple of weeks I've been beating the drums for the return of Juninho (not like Bruce and Dave wanted to keep him out he went through some visa difficulties trying to get back from a personal visit home to Brazil) because of the uninspired and uncreative futbol the Galaxy had been playing in his absence.

The playoff push seems to be setting in a big way right now for the clubs in the league. The eight who are "in" right now are looking strong while the other eight seem to not have enough fight in them to help make things a bit more interesting here.

RSL is still the top dog for me but I do see the LA Galaxy making a charge here to regain their top spot that they held on to for so long this season.
