Have you ever wondered why Barcelona and Spain midfielder Andres Iniesta is so pale? Well
apparently he spends a lot of time indoors watching video of his own games, and as a result has
seen his World Cup final winning goal 1,000 times.
"I watch all my matches many times," the 26-year-old Barcelona playmaker told the Spanish daily
El Pais.
Barcelona star, Andres Iniesta, will be taking on a new role in his life as the 26-year old
Spanish star went on to state that "[His] future fatherhood has just been reported." Taken
advantage of his post-World Cup break to conceive the child, Iniesta will now enjoy the fruits and
labors of his first child.

If you had to select the best five-aside team from your club's squad, who would be in it? There
can be only five, as they once said in Highlander (sort of).
With the fives of Arsenal and Aston Villa tucked safely in
our shorts, today is the turn of the mighty, awesome, godlike, we-are-not-worthy
Barcelona.
La Liga Lowdown, Jornada 1: Barcelona lay down a marker is a post from: Just Football
The new La Liga season finally returned this weekend and the early advantage goes to Pep
Guardiola and Barçelona. Alright, it's only day one and there's still a long road
ahead, but I'm sure José Mourinho won't want to get into the habit of passing up on points too
often.
It hasn't even been two months since Andres Iniesta's golaso in Johannesburg yet meaningful
international football returns with Friday's slate of Euro 2012 qualifiers. No doubt Spanish
supporters are looking forward to the defence of their 2008 title but can English fans summon the
passion after their bummer summer?
The SPANISH NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM defeated 0 – 4 LIECHTENSTEIN in the first Group match
qualifier for the EURO 2012 competition. A near perfect exhibition that gave a few headlines:• An
outstanding Andres Iniesta who put in another exhibition to reinforce his FIFA Golden Ball
candidacy• The recovery of FERNANDO TORRES with two brilliant goals signalling that he is back
after a difficult knee

Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has hinted that if it was down to him, he
would have secured a switch to Barcelona this summer. No surprise here don't you
agree?
The midfielder was strongly linked with a return to his Catalan roots throughout the transfer
window, with both parties making it clear that they wished to reach an agreement.
This year's Ballon d'Or would be one of the most contestly fought contest in recent years. The
front runners of this years award are Andres Iniesta, Xavi hernandez, Lionel Messi, Diego Forlan
and Wesley Sneijder. The Ballon d'Or and FIFA World Player of the Year award has been merged from
this year and has been Christened as FIFA Ballon d'Or.
Diego Forlan may be 31-years old but he looked far from it at the World Cup in South Africa
where he saw himself be awarded with the Golden Ball award. Although he wasn't able to be contacted
by any of the major club's that was expected, Forlan still showed that at 31-years of age, he may
still have a lot left in him.
How about we all follow Andres Iniesta's example and look ahead instead of behind? Don't let the
serious expression fool you,
he's not stressing over the loss against Hercules. Though
admitting that it was a very odd game, he affirmed the team's desire to win and is still
optimistic:
"You just want to win again and get the good feelings back.
David Villa couldn't be any happier at Barcelona as the Spanish striker went on to state that
coach Guardiola meets his ever expectation. Although the Spanish champions were picked apart
against newly promoted club Hercules last weekend, Barcelona went on to open a scoring clinic in
their Champions League match against Panathinkaikos.
We all know of Andres Iniesta's prowess with the ladies. He needn't touch them, look at them or
even know them his goals simply plant a seed in the womb like some sort of footballing Jesus. Or
maybe, given his complexion, he's the footballing incubus. And if he scores anymore important
goals, he's going to become the modern day Genghis Khan, with his silhouette on the double helix of
much of Spain's population down the road.

In Barcelona's last match against Athletic Bilbao, Villa was shown a red-card that will now see
him miss the Catalan's club next game.
After having been brought down by Bilbao defender, Carlos Gurpegi, Villa let his emotions take
over him and reacted. Following the challenge, Villa punched the defender as he was walking away in
which did not go unseen.
