It is mouth-watering just to imagine a match featuring the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka,
Xabi Alonso and Karim Benzema taking on an opposing team which includes Lionel Messi, Thierry
Henry, Xavi Hernandez and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to name just a few.
The dream of many football fanatics has come true following a spending frenzy by Los Blancos
which included the record signing of Portuguese Ronaldo from Manchester United.

For FC Barcelona's second match of the La Liga season Pep Guardiola will have two of his stars
back on the roster. Both Andres Iniesta and Rafa Marquez will receive medical clearance on
Wednesday meaning that they will be on the roster against Getafe. Guardiola has already confirmed
that both players will start on the bench this weekend after receiving medical clearance.

On Saturday FC Barcelona travel to Madrid to take on Getafe, who had a convincing 1-4 victory
over Racing Santander in first week action. Getafe, under new manager Michel, look to improve on a
dismal 2008/2009 season which saw them barely escape relegation. For FC Barcelona they cannot take
Michel's team lightly.
The highly anticipated Champions League showdown between Barcelona and Inter, Ibrahimovic
and Eto'o, and Guardiola and Mourinho ended in a scoreless stalemate, but what if it
continued?

Rafael Marquez spontaneously grows a baby arm out of his forehead.
- Looks like Leo Messi's been feeling kind of frisky lately - apparently, this photo of Xavi was
taken by Leo himself, having snatched the camera from one of the photographers at a recent training
session to snap a picture of his teammate. Leo couldn't possibly be any cuter, and he's got some
serious camera skills too!

FC Barcelona arrived in Madrid just hours before their match on Saturday against Getafe. With
Getafe coming off a strong performance in week one manager Pep Guardiola was aware that his team
must not show up unprepared.
The first half started off slow for the blaugrana as the team struggled on offense with Lionel
Messi, Thierry Henry, Andres Iniesta and Dani Alves all starting on the bench.
Brazilian star forward and Manchester City footballer Robinho is often a player rumored to be
available for next transfer window in January. Manchester City was only second to Real Madrid
this summer in million dollar mega deals for star players and the Blues likely wouldn't mind
making some money back off of the star players high demand.

There was much build up around the Inter vs Barcelona match up, aka. Eto'o vs Ibrahimovic, but
in the end the two teams battled to a draw at the San Siro. For FC Barcelona the emotions were
mixed heading back to the Camp Nou as the team left Milan unscathed but should have walked away
with a win having many opportunities on goal.

Without the services of Thierry Henry upfront for Tuesdays match against Dynamo Kiev manager Pep
Guardiola decided to give Andres Iniesta his first start of the season up front. From the beginning
moments of the match Barcelona looked sluggish and off their game. Without Iniesta in the middle
alongside Xavi the team lacked the ball control that we are used to seeing.
Barcelona have revealed that Andres Iniesta could come into contention for
Saturday's trip to Getafe.
The gifted playmaker has been out of action for three months with a thigh muscle
injury.
He has not featured for Barca since their Champions League final success over
Manchester United at the end of May.
This match has got us both excited and nervous. The first, because it's been a while since we last
saw the boys play, and we've missed it. The second, because no way is this going to be easy.
Getafe are a tricky team, and we usually have a hard time against them. The fact that most of our
squad is just returning from international duty doesn't help either, especially with our star Leo
Messi bound to be feeling glum what with Argentina's qualification struggles.
Near the end of Barca's 4-2 5-2 win over Atletico Madrid on Saturday, Andres Iniesta decided
that the referee was in the way of him taking possession of the ball. And although the game was
already in hand, Iniesta still decreed that the referee's position would not prevent him from
getting to that ball.
